Some streets get the febreeze treatment in the morning. The wife and I had to run for it one morning while walking down Bourbon Street. The spray truck was coming our way and the spray hit about waist high up on the buildings. Don't ask why we were still on Bourbon Street a 7am!!!!I understand completely. I would always leave my sneakers by the hotel door & not wear them into the room. I have also considered disposing of them when I left too. But I also see people lying around on them like it's their living room sofa.
The French Quarters sidewalks & streets could always use a complete bleach pressure washing each & every early morning.
