I should probably preface this thread with a comment and a Brief Back ground. For the Hundreds and Hundreds of Newer Forum members, that where not here last year at this time!!
Last year at this time I started a thread to count down the Final " 99 days" until the 1st game of the Regular Season. {Just to kill the Boredom of the Off-Season} This was such a "Monster Hit" with so many Forum members, they have ask me to " Fire this Puppy up, one more Time!!"
Basically what you will see, over the Next 99 day Are selected Photos of past and present Player (Thousands of them I might add!) for every Jersey from #99 down to #1! Along with comments and Stats on each Player.
Where the Real Fun comes in is everyone is invited to Post your own photos of these players, or players I may Miss! Comment on what you see an read! Post your fondest memories of these Players!
If you haven't see these threads before, I believe, your in for a Great Walk Back through "Rams History!" From Cleveland to L.A. to St. Louis and Back to L.A!
I have been able to retrieve about 90% of the OLD Threads from the ROD Archives, and my own. The rest ( About 9 Jersey numbers, I'll have to redo!)
Most of the Time I'll just be "Bumping" the old threads w/ maybe some minor tweeks, and adding New players. (Circa 2016)
I hope you enjoy this as much as I know I'm going to enjoy seeing it all again! I HOPE THIS TURNS OUT LIKE YOU OLDER MEMBERS WANTED!!
OH! Before I forget, All future Threads will simply be Titled " Counting Down - Jersey #__!" when you look for them! ( I'd " Sticky them daily at the top of RamsTalk but I don't know how to do that and change it!!

Counting Down - Jersey #99:
DT - Claude Wroten - 2006-2007
Wroten came to the Rams in a trade w/ 1st round pick Tye Hill from Denver for the Rams 1st round Draft pick in 2006. The Broncos then used that pick to take QB Jay Cutler in the 1st round @ #11 in the 2006 Draft! Who won on this deal? You deside!
Next Up - DT - C.J. Ah You - 2009-2011
C.J. Played 33 games for the Rams, and had 6 Sacks. His Claim to fame ... He average "ONE Tackle per game" in his career with the Rams! ( He was part of the Dark Years!)
NEXT UP - " THE MAN OF THE HOUR!" DT- Aaron Donald - 2014-Present
Donald has take the NFL by Storm!
20 Sacks and 81 Tackles in his first two years! ( Seems like it should be a lot more Tackles!) I couldn't find how many "Pressures" he had! Anyone know!?

It's like Wilson is saying to him self, " OH Well .. Here comes Donald AGAIN!! Sack # 400000 bye the Rams!"
I believe Donald Can make a lot of us forget our Best DT ever Merlin Olsen! OK .. That maybe a Stretch!
Next up - My Final man for today - DT - Ray Agnew - 1998-2000 - Part of or Great GSOT Days!
Ray may have Played 5 years with the Cheatriots, and 3 years w/ the Giants before coming to the Rams, But he sure had plenty left in him to help us get to the SB and Win it!
He played in 47 games, had an Int/ 11.5 sacks and 94 Tackles! Not bad for an Old man!
This thread was one of the 9 I could not find in my Archive search, and had to replace! I hope you've liked this 1st installment! IF not, I have Broad Shoulders!!:mrburnsevil:
