You see punt returns waving guys off all the time and then returning a punt off the bounce.

They were reviewing whether he stepped out and then a call from New York came in claiming this bullshit.

I bet the Hawkeye offense is the worst of all time, but you can't take this away from Coop.

He's one of the best DBs in the Nation and electrifying players in the Nation. I want the Rams to do EVERYTHING they can to get him.

He'd be such a game changer on Defense and in our return game.

After the game he said he was using his left arm to help maintain balance to get the ball and make a play. It was absolutely horseshit. Here's a better angle

It is.. but they say he made an "invalid fair catch" signal.. it's quite obvious he wasn't trying to fair catch and the Minnesota punt team even stayed engaged knowing it wasn't.

They were reviewing to make sure he didn't step out and someone called in with this bs.

I'm still pissed. I don't think I'll ever get over this call. One of the greatest returns and most clutch plays in Hawkeye history.

The same ref fucked up a Jack Campbell pick-6 against Minnesota last year for us, when he was clearly inbounds.

And the same ref was suspended at the MAC level for missed/bad calls.

I'm sure you've heard by now Brian Ferentz won't be returning to the Hawkeyes next year

Beth Goetz broke the news this afternoon

she did say , that Brian Ferentz would stay on until after the Bowl Game

and I'm assuming Brian Ferentz will remain the offensive coordinator until then , at one point today , I had heard that Kelton Copeland was going to take over play calling , but I think thats been debunked

and I don't want to bad mouth Brian Ferentz to much , I think he's a pretty good offensive line / tight end coach , he's sent alot of good players to the NFL

but at the end of the day , it's still Kirks offense , I'm not sure what offensive coordinator is going to thrive under Kirk Ferentz

I'm sure all eyes will now turn to Kirk , and what he'll do at the end of the season

I'm sure his press conference tomorrow will be interesting

the whole gambling witch hunt

to this day , no one has explained to me why Iowa and Iowa State were the only two schools investigated for gambling

Iowa and Iowa State lost several keys players to suspension while the NCAA turned a blind eye to the other 128 Division 1 schools

Most the talking heads on TV had Iowa State picked to finish last in the Big 12 , but here they are 6-3 in the Big 12 and tied for third , there were games were Iowa State had 17 Freshmen starting

with the way the college transfer portal works now-a-days , I hope Iowa State and Matt Campbell can retain most of those Freshman
