Perspective. I'm tempted to repost this with every coaching criticism but when people have an agenda (trolling), such things will always be ignored.

It's a really good summary @Classic Rams; and I think you may have even missed a couple of O-L injuries (there have been so many). Shelton and Bruss are not there.

I remember not long ago the 49ers had bad injury riddled seasons. That was a legitimate reason for the 4-12 and 6-10 seasons according to some pundits. The Rams have even more injuries but its no excuse to some.

Injuries derailed the season. They could never get any continuity with so many guys going down every week. Simple as that.

Makes me wonder what the record is for most season-ending injuries in one year for any one team...cuz that is fucking insane.

Yeah the season ending ones are wack. When I was tallying the data those other 2 teams looked very healthy compared to the 2022 Rams. ,81 Raiders almost had no excuse for being bad other than being outplayed.

On the OL that I left out I did see them but I didn't add because Shelton is back and Bruss had no impact other than 1 less sub. But it's arguable that I could've put 'em in just to keep the injuries list as high as it has been.

Now thinking of most injuries, I remember a Ram team in 1979 with many injuries, that year was ridiculous too. Though we were able to make it to the Super Bowl helped by a few players who came back.

QB Pat Haden - game 10 (season ending)
RB Elvis Peacock - game 11 (season ending)
T John Williams - game 12 (season ending)
DE Jack Youngblood - game div playoffs (played w/broken fibula)

*Doesn't seem that bad compared to 2022. But back then the injuries seemed pretty bad. People were calling the team "General Hospital." What does that make this year's team? E.R? Walking Dead? Stranger Things?

The rankings are interesting. Those other teams were bad teams after a SB win, its interesting that their overall rankings don't reflect that bad overall like the Rams are this year.

Yes we had a ridiculous number of injuries but I dont know.... and yes I knew we were in bad shape but to be basically dead last offensively seems like a hell of a feat.

I'm the same exact way. When the "talking heads" bring up how bad the Rams are after winning the superbowl and leave out the fact that 3 of the HOF players that had a huge part in winning the SB are and have been out for the year, not to mention the other 20 some odd guys on season ending IR. They literally have been fielding a 2 and 3rd string OL since early in the year.

It was an unhappy season, but I will rest easy in the off season as long as the whiners do not win the Lombardi.
