I go back and forth as to who I'd rather have today. Seeing as how this is a very deep interior DL draft, it might swing towards DeJean for me. He looks every bit the part of a lock down CB, not to mention, a very good returner.

We thought we were good at CB with Kurl signing along with White and Williams brought in to add to the young guys, not sure if Witherspoon was signed then. But we needed to improve the front 7 in a big way so IMO I doubt the Rams wanted DeJean at that spot with Fiske on the board. If somebody took him before us though anything could have happened.

Either guy would have been a good pick, but I think having Fiske and Verse together was more important.
I would also prioritize Dline over CBs in todays NFL when you can't even sneeze on the receivers anymore.

Hadn't signed Spoon yet, but we clearly had some kind of handshake deal with him unless someone was going to offer him more than the vet minimum, so I'm guessing he was in the cards.

The Rams F’d up on WHITERSPOON!! I’m curious what The Rams do with him this season?

He made mention that Mcvay’s got him,so I’ll suspect he honors his words & they’ll come to a deal.This probably works out with both sides,but White should’ve never been signed ahead of him.

Derion Kendrick was high on The Rams list until he got hurt.

What I am curious about is how The Rams move forward at CB ??

Plus The Rams did well with Kinchens at FS/SS ? It took him a few games but WOW, & his age.

Fisher was the pick the whole time.
WTF ? What they gave up to get him was not CHEAP!! He was the guy all the time.

Then again if The Rams took AD99 over G Rob(Matthews plus next years 1st Vikes), Ram fans would’ve been freaking out at first.

He's solid, not a bit upset with Fiske. He's going to be solid for years.

I am a big fan of both players, Fiske may have a bit of an edge as a multiplier due to his relationship with V8. I think they push each other and are better together. DeJean is a baller, love his game

DB or CB? Their backend is loaded I always liked Mitchel and Slay but Slay wasn't in top form. Upside it's Dejean and he improved at a high rate
