It's fun sometimes to make a guess, a prediction on what might happen. I'm intrigued that Fassel has had 3 days to prepare the team, that some Rams players have been accused of going through the motions and not giving 100%, that Goff has had another game of experience, that the weather Thursday night will be dry but 27 degrees. I wonder things like how the Fassel/Greg Williams interaction and relationship is going. Or more importantly if Fassel has told Boras he has to change it up and do something different.

So what is going to happen Thursday night?

My thought is that it's either going to be really bad, a blowout like 41-10 ... or ... our Rams are going to pull off an upset in a close, low scoring game like 13-12. I do not think it'll be in between, like 24-17. It's either getting blown out by a high, lopsided score ... or we win in a low scoring affair.

What do you ROD members think?
How will the game play out tomorrow night in Seattle?

I think it's close in the 1st half and Seattle pulls away in the 2nd half after adjustments and the D tiring from lack of offensive drives. 20-10 Hags.
The upset for Bones with White horns would be pretty damn special though. Especially to sweep the Hags again! Quick someone make a Pete Carroll voodoo doll!

We match up well when healthy...Especially if Quinn is healthy....I expect another low scoring game...it'll be tough...but I'd imagine the players get the message that this game is really on them. They better put some good tape out there on TNF. Hell, I expect a win...9-0....LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I want to see if Boras was held back by fisher. I don't think Fassel will even have time to talk to the coordinators just tell them to have at it.

The key to keeping this close is getting Goff as comfortable as possible in this environment. I know he's been in loud stadiums, but nothing like this. IMO, we need to get the running game going, and take our shots when we can. I know the offense has been struggling, but we need to control the ball and keep our defense fresh. Easier said than done. Win or lose I just hope we have a shot to win at the end of the game. I just can't take another blowout where the game is over by half.

I think the Rams win and look good doing it, wearing those beautiful blue and white helmets.

Ewe. Those helmets are ugly. The 1999 Superbowl season uniforms are the best.

Lower your expectations and have some liquor ready. This team has so many fundamentally underperforming parts that there is just no way they go into that stadium and pull out a win. Not gonna happen.

They'll be hitting and playing hard, sure. But that doesn't mean much when you're being outschemed and beaten one on one. And once they get hit in the mouth they're gonna fold like a cheap suit. That's who this team is dudes, sorry.

It's one thing to play for pride, another to play for your new coach or even the old coach which many players were sad to see go, but it's almost beyond even that point now, these players had better be playing for their own jobs because things are going to be quite different once that new management team gets in place. As Gurley stated after our last game, if some players are just not making a real effort, they should be history. Its not like the tape won't provide these details, so they had better man up and give it their best. I'd still like to see some OL adjustments that may help free up Gurley, we'll just have to wait and see what, if anything new, they have up their sleeves. jmo.

What hell though. Last year I had to watch the game on my phone while waiting in line for that Star Wars movie. Now they get scheduled again on another Star Wars movie premiere night? The force is strong with this one...

Could Fassel be the next Dabo Swinney?Dabo was just a wr coach that was thrown into the fire halfway through the season.Remembering him saying he really didn't know what he was suppose to do after the first game, didn't know what to say.Won a few games, put together a staff, adjusted it a little, and the rest is history.Fassel reminds me a little of him,but has a much tougher road than Dabo did especially with only 3 games left

He wasn't. The offense was predicated on a simple philosophy. Run to set up the pass. When the run wasn't there, they simply passed. The Detroit and Tampa games show us that there was nobody stepping on Boras's neck. He had to find a way to get the offense to score points while adhering to the principle of getting the run game going, first and foremost. Every team in the league, with the exception of maybe two, would love to be able to run the ball, control the clock, and put points on the board with timely passes set up by play-action or drawing defenses in. The Rams aren't any different in that respect. Seattle isn't going to let us run, and they're going to be difficult on Goff when he tries to pass. Doesn't matter who the coach is, it's going to be a difficult game with this personnel against that level of competition.

The offense is also at the mercy of the defense. If they let Seattle march up and down the field again, then what's a coordinator to do? He has to find a way to put points on the board - only this time in a hurry. There is no methodical game plan anymore.

If he could turn Quick into Hopkins and Thomas into Watkins in 3 weeks. Sign him up for a 100 year contract.

Just not sure he has enough time to really show that.
Do hope we are able to see some good things that have been unseen
to this point.
