Interesting question, indeed.
An excellent diversion during the final weeks of the offseason doldrums.
Julio Jones would probably be my choice and here's why.
We've already got a dominant DL. Best in the league, imo. So I wouldn't choose Watt.
Gronk would be tempting, but his age and health might be issues. Plus I'm intrigued by the Higbee possibilities.
Brady and Rodgers would also be tempting, but we just drafted Goff, so.....
Earl Thomas is a terrific talent, but would his impact be all that dramatically better for our secondary? I mean, compared to some of the already mentioned names?
Luke Kuekley would improve any LB corps, but geez, we've already got Ogletree and Barron. Why gild the lilly?
Our O is the unit that most needs this hypothetical new superstar. And WR is likely our weakest positional group, at least until one of the newbies proves differently.
So, by this process of elimination, I would choose Julio Jones for our team.
Obviously, other teams with other needs might well choose a different superstar. But Julio Jones would seem to provide the best fit for the '16 Rams. At least to me.
