crapping himself thinking about a Ram/Patriot Super Bowl rematch. Can you imagine all the Spygate stuff that will be brought up during those 2 weeks before the game? I’ll bet he disappears for a while.

Nothing will be brought up. That was with the St Louis Rams and based on the way the media talks about the team, that 20 years apparently didn’t happen.

So true! I love how the media picks and chooses when they include the Rams era in STL. It's more jaw dropping to talk about the last time the LA Rams did X was back in 1980-something.

Either way, it's been since 2001 where we in this position. We have a chance to change the narrative

He'll be OK.
The NFL will have this thread destroyed, and all evidence of it, within 24 hours.

Well, it looks like the fix is already in to keep the Rams out with the officiating crew they selected. I actually emailed the league office. Lol

The narrative is going to be Brady vs. Bree’s ... oneast shootout before they ride off int the sunset.

If you google how to contact the nfl league office it comes up. The first site has a direct link. I don’t know if they’ll ever see it but I emailed them. Screw this ref. He has no business officiating this game.

I posted this on November 7th.

Aaaaaaaand...now we got Vinovich. Vinovich 12 Rams 0.

What I couldn't foresee and neither could the NFL was CJ Anderson and how well all this has come together.

But yeah. I couldn't hope more to be wrong. We'll know pretty early what's the deal.

Either that or the combo of CJ Anderson and Gurley with our OL is just so good that no amount of ticky-tack holding calls hold us back.

And I'll say it again, the current narrative is that Brees "deserves" another ring and the NFL is still helping the Patriots and so that's the Super Bowl. Will the NFL have to help them? Who knows? But I'd be SHOCKED if any other teams were in the Super Bowl.

Most games have no or little interference, but if the NFL is going to continue to establish and focus on a narrative, then what we're watching is chaotic storytelling like those "pick your adventure" books. For the most part, the sport of football will still be what it is, but it will still be upsetting that a great season can amount to little or nothing.

Pretty sure that the idea was for Brees to have last year, but that fluke play at the end of the Minnesota game wasn't something that they could remove as the fluke part happened so late that a holding or other penalty would have been seen. So they switched to Philly with their narrative. It's not like they don't have a Plan B.

This is part of why I'm celebrating our season NOW. I have almost no faith that the Rams see the Super Bowl even as I hope for it.

I'd love to be wrong, but when I set my sights on something, that's kinda rare.

There does seem to be a Brees feel to this season. Great player winning another one before he rides off into retirement and whatnot.

But F that. Eat some CJ Anderson instead b!tches. Rams need to roll this playoff field like the 82 Redskins.
