Maybe I’m seeing things, but I think I’m watching the emergence of a pretty good back in Henderson. He has really good outside speed, and packs a pretty good punch at the end of his runs. It seems to me that the game is starting to slow down a little for him. Am I just a Kool Aid guzzler?

Glad this topic came up. He’s showed promise... despite the occasional hesitation hitting the hole that comes with inexperience.

I am still trying to get comfortable how he holds the ball. It’s generally high and tight, but I‘d like him to get the other hand around a little sooner before contact.

I think I think this. Need to see more.

I think he’s clearly more explosive than the current Gurley.

I am anxious to see Henderson hit a REALLY open hole... We haven’t seen him get to explode thru a hole. Can’t wait to see that!

Yep. Waiting to see him hit one vertically to see what his top gear looks like at this level.

For a little guy he absolutely trucked a few defenders. Great at making guys miss too. Pff really liked him during the draft process.

He's gonna break a long one sooner or later. He's been so close a few times.

Man if our line could get fixed and we could get Gurley's confidence back, we would have a devastating 1-2 punch in the running game.

If he turns into an Alvin Kamara we'll have some much needed house money... or trade bait.

Sounds like a bold prediction thread starter.

You could be right.

At this time it is more wishful thinking though I have been impressed with his burst of speed. I hope he's a keeper.

He did seem to throw a pretty good block as designed in what looked like a series of plays featuring him, basically creating a sequence of plays triggered on intended reactions by the defense.

How scripted, who knows but I tip my hat to McVay for the play calling and Henderson (and the rest of the team) for the execution.
