I know this guy that works with the Rams, so this info is rock solid.

After watching Wolford emulate Wilson and Murray in practices leading up their games, Snead made McVay promise NOT to play Wolford. The fact is, he was just too good and would cast a shadow over the recent deal given Goff.

Unfortunately, their hands are tied now with Goff requiring surgery. WATCH OUT THIS SUNDAY, FELLAS!

Shhhh, you didn't hear it from me...

So what do you think, DVontel?
@DVontel

I wouldn't say that I am excited to see Wholford play but I'm definitely interested. In light of how the end of the season has turned out and my loss of hope for any SB push, it at least makes the last game more interesting.

I wish Wolford had both of Akers and Henderson, plus Whit and Kupp, but it is what it is. Here to hoping either the Bears get beat or the Rams defense can shut the Cardinals out.

No head coach worth his salt would consider keeping a potentially better player on the bench. Not buying.

Fact is that Goff should have been benched in Miami but he wasn't. If the Rams had that inner view of Wolford being that good he would have gotten time in that game.

Truth is Wolford's ball floats a bit too much for the NFL. His arm strength is the reason he is a backup. And if McVay felt Goff was a lesser choice than his backup no GM would convince him to play the lesser choice.

That said and for the record I expect Wolford to play well in this game and give our offense a lift. But playoffs are gonna be about getting Goff's head right because we are gonna need him.

I expect Wolford to play lights out to his skill set. Is that good enough to win with our D on our home turf? Could be and should be but that football has a funny shape to it and our Rams specialize in letting winnable games slip away so.....................GO RAMS!!!!!!

Wolford to Van Jefferson all day long fella's
That's what I expect. Back ups usually get more time with backups and I would bet Wolford and Jefferson have a little chemistry at this point. We'll see but we sure do need Kupp to play, if for nothing else, his blocking.
