How well could you handle a hit/tackle by an NFL player?

How well could you handle THAT?

Today, an NFL hit would probably break me. But in my youth at 135lbs, they could not get a square hit on me. Ok, I may have been broken in my youth also.

If I’d get to go through all of the training and camp and work up to hitting? With equipment on I’d still be out of commission for a week. There is a chance I would be paralyzed with the rods in my neck.
