Hey, I hate the Seagals as much as any longterm diehard Rams fan, but jesus christ they look to be unstoppable right now, and pretty much made the 49ers D look like amateurs last night. I mean, really, what's Jeff got to do to slow down that train in their house?

Biggest obstacle is to beat the noise ..... that 12th man can help them beat us just by beating ourselves.

Well we will have one thing going for us, Sherman will be suspended for the first week of his suspension. Browner wont be back yet either.

A key will be our DEs IMO. If they can get Russel Wilson on the ground constantly then we should be pretty effective on D. Wilson has been breaking the will of defenses all year by running around in the back field, shedding sacks, and then converting the opportunity into a first down(either by throw or scramble).

As always stopping Lynch is a must.

On offense we need to run the ball and hit a few big plays to silence the 12th man. We need to control the flow of the game. Limited the Seahawk's possessions and limit/eliminate TOs

Looks like a tough matchup but I know the players are 10x as pumped as I am to have a winning season. Especially SJ. He will go off

Did you hear what Collinsworth said after he had that INT? "It's entirely possible he's taken PEDs." Or something close to that. That was the best part of the game for me.

Also, I can finally stop going for SF. 2 weeks in a row, that's tough man.

Take their crowd out of the game. I know it's easier said than done, but if we execute a solid game plan in all three phases, this game will be ours for the taking. We have nothing to lose, so they better be ready for Fisher to pull out all the stops.

If I was Fisher, and won the coin toss, I would defer to the second half and then try an onsides kick. Get it and we get great field position and an opportunity to get some points. Even if we don't get it, I have enough confidence in our defense to limit them to a FG attempt.

IMO, this is gonna be as physical game as any, but we will go in and get the win.

My score prediction is RAMS - 27, seattle - 17, and we go undefeated in the NFC West.

What we've been doing.

Run the ball, and control the clock. Stop the run and force them to throw into our secondary. Don't let Wilson run free, keep him in the pocket. Jump when he's going to throw for a tipped pass.

If we let Lynch run all over us, we're in trouble. If we can stop him (like we stopped Spiller, Martin, and Gore) then we're in business. If we can't (AP... Even if he was controlled most of the game, he got the two big runs that essentially killed it for us) then it'll be really hard.

Then play smart offense. Feed Jackson, mix it up with Richardson and Pead. Screens, short passes, etc. Control the clock as long as possible. Who cares if it's loud, if we can keep it close maybe by the 4th they'll lose their voices.

1) We've got to contain Russell Wilson. Our CB's will slow their passing game enough that he'll have to pull the ball down.

2) We need 2 turnovers. As said above, if we bottle up the WR's he might force some throws.

3) Get your hands up (DLine). Russell is short. A tipped ball or two could lead to an INT.

4) Avoid killer penalties, particularly on offense. The oline needs to be ready for the noise.

5) Need to get the passing game working. We'll get our yards on the ground, so it really falls on the passing offense. Get creative Mr. Schottenheimer!

It seems to me like we should try to make the game into a low scoring sluggfest in which the last FG wins. I don't really fancy us to score >21. Try to control the clock, stop that (much as I hate to say it) excellent Seattle defence from making big plays by being conservative (hate to say that too), put the points scoring on GZ and we have a chance.

Playing the hottest team in the league, in their house, when they're 7-0 at home, after they have blown out 3 good teams in a row seems daunting, no, IS daunting, but if this up and coming team wants to make a statement, there can be no better opportunity than this week.

Maybe Username can make the trip to seattle and punch Carroll, Wilson, Lynch, and a few others in the dick!

It's funny. Reading threads like this always sound so good to where even Hawks fans are thinking "yeah, that would stop the Hawks"... Then after the game, going into your forums and reading the "WE SUCK" threads after the meltdown. Yeah, we could lose to you guys of course, but I wouldn't count on it. We're on some wierd level right now that harkens back to 2005... And I would argue MORE than 2005. I wouldn't hold out too much hope for a victory this Sunday as we're still playing for an outside shot at winning the NFC West, and the crowd ain't gonna let up. Don't think for a second though that most Seahawks fans are relishing playing you guys over the next 10 years. The draft pick tsunami coming up for you guys is impressive, and I think it's gonna be all Rams/Seahawks again in the west. I relish it! Good luck guys with NO injuries on either side this weekend... Oh, and of course... Merry Christmas, happy holidays and all that stuff.

First, I think you must be talking about the Ramstalk forum at the PD when you're referring to fans making comments like "we suck" in post game threads. I don't recall seeing that here.

Second, while I am the one that started this thread and asked the question, "how do we beat the seafaggots", I also know that one should never ever get too confident in this league. One key hit on your precious rookie QB, like we did to Alex Smith, and not only could you guys lose a lot of your offensive flexibility, but also might experience a HUGE momentum shift away from your precious team. One play, one hit, and one bad call (ala the Tuck Rule call) could change your entire team's future.

I'm going into Seattle expecting to win, and I think we will win, and I think we'll provide some payback for knocking us out of the playoffs a couple years ago.

We wont be making any "We suck" threads. We're the youngest team in the NFL, had a total roster overhaul, front office overhaul, and have a lot of room to grow.

If we can put up 8 (or 7) wins, that's a big step forward. Given that we were essentially cheated out of two wins, we're not as bad as people like to pretend we are.

Enjoy your postseason. We'll be taking the division from now on.

Two words: weaponized Anthrax.

BTW I deserve bonus points for using the words "weaponized Anthrax" on Xmas day. If I'm not mistaken, that's an internet first.

Does it make me a bad fan for thinking; "we probably lose this game"?

I can see scenarios where we could win. We've beaten them already this season, so it seems we match up well against them.

Also, they could be in for a let down performance after beating SF.

But Seattle is one of the hottest teams right now. They are steam rolling opponents and they are at home. This is a tough assignment and we'll need just about everything go right for us to win.

No it doesn't make you a bad fan. Actually I agree. I think the Rams will lose and it probably won't be close. The Seahawks are a much better team now than they were early in the season when the Rams beat them. The Rams just don't have enough offense to stay in this game.
