Of all the targets to TEs yesterday Hibee got 0. Hard to stomach Parkinson getting more than him. He seemed to be moving fine and had no talk about him being nicked up, I can only guess he was too busy getting beat fown in the blocking scheme.

Anyone see reports on him

ya unfortunately he may be the best TE blocker, among the current group. When I watched the camp vids, it was Ferguson who did the best work on the sled & he's a rook. Higbee did good as well, but I can't remember who it was--Parkinson or Allen--who kept standing the sled straight up & getting chewed on by the TE coach.
Ferg was shoving it straight down field, text book perfect. I really want to see him in action soon, I think he'll be good sooner than later.

No idea, maybe trying to keep him fresh for long season since he is the elder statesman now? The snap count was spread quite a bit. I am not sure if he was in there at the end though. After his holding penalty I don't remember seeing him.

Higbee - 35 snaps
Parkinson - 29 snaps
Allen - 22 snaps

McVay seemed to be using more two tight end sets in this game. Can't see Parkinson seeing the field much going forward. Allen is the better receiver and neither are good blockers. This position will evolve as the season goes ahead. Higbee sometimes is strictly a blocker depending on the opponent. This was a blocking week for him, next game he may see the ball some.
