That chick in the 2nd episode was probably one of the hottest I've ever seen in a TV show series.

This show is better than I first thought. I only watched the first episode cause I figured it had to be good with WH and MM, it started a bit slow and was hard to figure out what was goin on, but now I cant wait for the next episode, each one has been better than the 1 before.

That was the best episode yet. I like the show and was waiting to see some action happen, was not let down in the slightest. I might rewatch that episode this weekend, it really was that good. McConaughey is my favorite on that show. Can't wait to see the confrontation with Ladoux. Wish the show wasn't only going to be 8 episodes.

Next season is a whole new story with different actors. Each story only last a season with this series.

I realize that, which is why not too excited about if and when new season starts. This season still has alot of loose ends. They caught the bad guy, whoopee, but whats up with Marty and Rusty? Marty and Maggie? What about Rev Tuttle? etc etc etc

I enjoyed the series due to the great acting. Some of the gratuitous sex and violence not so much. It strains credibility that a man with a knife and an axe could almost kill two experienced detectives. If someone's trying to lure me into their lair, I'm calling for backup and then burning the place down until he comes running out. :shooting:

Btw RhodyRams - I think I met you and your wife at a bar in St. Louis the night before the Rams/Skins game. And the Basenji dogs you were thinking of were being raised by a man named Gary(PaRam50).

I thought there was pretty good closure on all ends in the finale Idk. (edit: Added a spoiler tag for the rest)
Marty's conversation with his wife, his family coming to see him in the hospital. Knowing that they still cared about him, she even visits the bar Rust works in and ask about him. Leading Rust to tell Marty she still worried about him. Then Rust, after years of obsession, depression, and nothingness feels "the warmth of his daughters love" again in a near death experience. About Rev Tuttle, remember they said he died accidentally in the hospital but Rust thinks he was killed after he found the video tape. However, yes, they didn't get everyone but like Marty said "We didn't get them all. And we aren't going to get them all. But we got ours." Then Rust has his final revelation after they're talking about the dark to light comparison metaphor in the night sky with the stars, that the light is winning because before the stars there was only dark. Which further shows Rust evolution as a character after everything he's been through.

I mean I think it's more of a crime drama, and less Hollywood movie.
