Softli had said way back in August when Harvin was going to have surgery that there was no way Harvin would be effective this year. He said that was based on his experience of what happens when they cut into your hip. It's a long deal.

So it looks like Softli had it right. I hate the Seahawks so watching them take hits is great.

Sidney Rice now Harvin. That's a lot of dead money at the WR position. However, when you're paying so little at the QB and CB position then it evens out. They better win the big one soon or that window will shrink as they gotta pay some of those guys top money.

That's what I said at the beginning of the year. They are good now. What happens when Wilson (and Kaperdink for the whiners) are looking to get paid? Guess we'll see.

The Seattle Seahawks did not practice Friday, but they still got the fantasy football world's attention when Percy Harvin was listed as "DNP" because he wouldn't have taken the field.

Two sources with knowledge of Harvin's condition told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport that Harvin'sstatus is in doubt for the colossal "Monday Night Football" contest with the New Orleans Saints. For the second time since returning to practice a month ago, Harvin's surgically repaired hip has flared up.

Coach Pete Carroll later said Harvin will be listed as doubtfulheading into Monday's game.

Harvin was consulting Saturday with doctors, according to Rapoport. The meeting is ostensibly to determine whether there's any chance he can suit up for the NFC showdown.

Harvin's absence would take away a key weapon in the return game and a wild card on offense, but the Seahawkshave been the NFL's most dominant team without him this season.

Russell Wilson has never lost a home game in Seattle. The Seahawks trio of Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse has exceeded expectations this season. This team doesn't need Harvin to knock off the Saints outside of the Superdome.
