One of the biggest disappointments in the Offensive line play tonight was it meant not getting a good look at Cam Akers. He and Sony were getting hit behind the LOS on almost every play. Would loved to have seen him be able to stretch his legs and get going.

During this stretch of wins Michel has been turning no-gainers into 2 or 3 yards. He's been making runs happen. So when the running is that tough in there McVay needs to stick with him. He needs to realize that's his guy the offense goes through.

This OL just responds to Michel. So when it's tough like that you leave him in the game and use him to get this line rolling.

Also the reason our DL got tired was that SF kept running the ball and eventually started breaking the runs. I don't think McVay realizes that Michel is the key to this thing. Especially vs a strong front like that.

This next week vs Arizona Akers makes more sense. But again Michel needs to be prioritized. Michel is the biggest reason why this team was undefeated in December.

He looked quick for what it's worth. He just had absolutely nothing to work with today. Can't wait to see him next week.

It's really hard to stick with the run when your line is doing so poorly that you are getting 2 yards or less and often negative plays. Especially against a team that can pass rush like they do on third and long.
