I like what he says about letting them play instinctively. You guide players based on their STRONG suits...and you coach them through their weaknesses. I like that approach.
Look at Quinn...the guy was a beast pass rushing...but weak on the run. As he's gotten better playing the run...he's gotten more downs...but given the talent of this DLine...it's gonna be a battle for playing time...WOW!

When I heard his press conference when he got rehired here this season, I was like wow, this guy sounds like head coach material. I'm glad he's here though!
we already had a Defense that was young and on the rise, we added Donald to what was argueably the best Dline in the league, TJ and Ogletree have a year under their belts and should only get better, the secondary IMO was held back by Walton, that will change, I doubt you will see the DBs lining up 10 yards off of the LOS too often this year. GW stepped into a very good situation IMO and will have this Defense in the top 5 this year.
He's one of those types people want to play for. It's those kind of coaches that regardless of success you KNOW you are getting 100% effort. For most of us, that's all you can ask for.
