I hear it's like getting your oil changed nowadays. Haven't given in yet and gotten one but my doc won't leave me alone about it because I'm in my early 50s now.

Merlin - you really need to get off your ass (well not literally since you will be on it all night the night before) and get your colonoscopy done.

You catch those Polyps early and no harm no foul.

Oh the procedure itself is nothing - just the night before ....... PITA - literally

I was told a few years ago I needed a colonoscopy and an upper procedure thing with the camera down my stomach. I told them if you're gonna use the same camera do the upper one first.

I am 5 hrs post surgery, Norco for pain killers, The blocker is just starting to wear off. Rodies ignore all stupid posts from me for the rest of the day. No I really do love you

So far so good, they extracted a nerve (neuropathy) released my fascia (plantar fasciitus) and ground down a bone spur.
Tonight may be tough but like you say painkillers are awesome.

My brother had a colonoscopy. The doctor told him that it was not uncommon to get an erection during the procedure.

My timing was good, because my son was 6 years old when I got mine. He asked me what it was and I told him they were going to stick a camera up my ass. He kind of thought I was bullshitting at first, but you should have seen his face light up with laughter when he realized I was telling the truth. Ass and shit jokes are the sweet spot of 6 year old boy humor and it made his day.
