Yes, I agree. I have noticed he is stepping up now with the heat turned up. I believe we see our TEs get a fair amount of work today.I don’t know, but Gerald’s body language in the last 2 games seems to be saying
“I’m Ready for my moment”. He shows no nervousness or tentativeness in his game. Keep your eye on him, could be a good game for him. Do you agree?
Go Rams!
If the Patriots put Patrick Chung on him, I expect McVay to go to Everett.
They'll try to take away at least one of our WRs, so I believe Everett will be our secret weapon in the passing game. He doesn't have enough film to pose as a threat, so even better.
Reynolds is no Copper Kupp. If The Rams had Kupp,Woods,& Cooks NE is not stopping The Rams WR’s or anyone in the league. Best 3 combo WR group in the NFL imo.
Most of you that were in the Game Day threads over the season know I would wonder every game why Everett wasn't getting more targets all the time.
Everett could be HUGE today along with Higbee. Especially in 2 TE sets because Everett has improved as a blocker.
A play I'd like to see is the fake jets sweep, with Goff rolling right after the fake, as Everett runs a seam route. It may take some time to develop but I'd like to see it.
Mainly though...Higbee and Everett are big guys that Goff can hit on short routes...and allow them to punish tacklers!!!
Tell you what...if the Pats forget about Josh Reynolds...they will be in BIG TROUBLE!!! That guy has been balling as much as anyone!!!Agree, but since they don't have Kupp... Everett will have to bring it! ball:
Sorry manthis is no time to poormouth the Higbeast! he will step up today
