Put extra honey on it. The Rams need some sticky love after opening day.
I’d also say some baked beans. Make some cornbread & rice for Monday night chop leftover ham in with the beans & you get a twofer
One thing about L.A. is the many excellent restaurants where I can now order awesome food for delivery to my home. I've aged out of most of my own in-kitchen home cooking as the prep & cleaning up has taken its toll on my back, and since the delivery options are countless it's time for this new phase in life to take center stage.
Last week I ordered Fish n' Chips from a local seafood restaurant, and it was great, ... tomorrow it'll be Chinese from perhaps the best local place in town. So killer Egg Rolls, Mongolian Beef, Curry Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, Beef with Green Peppers, Chicken Fried Rice & Chicken Lo Mein along with loads of Stella are included in this spread.
Going simple with a gigantic plate of super nachos with taco seasoned ground turkey, refried beans, black beans, corn, lettuce, jalapeno, several cheeses, sour cream with sam adams octoberfest... my body hates me the next morning but I don't care.

Me and the misses both dealing with the flu and in no shape to cook, so we gonna order some Thai food. I'm debating between my normal go to in green curry duck, or some spicy chicken pad thai.
I have some whiner friends (who ate crow last season) and they were saying Trey Lance should get 5 games and pulled if he doesn't start winning. Fair weathered fans? LOL
We're going with the comfort food of grilled tri tip and Cole slaw. If it is raining, will cook indoors (cast iron pan sear and then into the oven at tree-fiddy to cook through).
As long as my most important ingredient is delivered on time today by Amazon, I'll be making Grilled Fried Chicken.
You read that right. I bet you didn't know that you could make fried chicken on the grill. I didn't either until earlier this week.
There are really two key ingredients. The one I'm waiting for is Pork Panko. It's like Japanese bread crumbs made with tiny pieces of fried pig skin instead of bread. The other is Duck Fat.
If Amazon keeps It's promise I post some pics... otherwise I won't be making this today as planned.
Once you finish cooking the chicken... I'm gonna drizzle some Mike's Hot Honey over the top of it. The chicken skin and the Pork Panko coating turns out like the best fried chicken crust ever. That's what I saw on the video... Hopefully I can make it today. I make it spicy even without the Hot Honey... but that's like the icing.
If you haven't tried Mike's Hot Honey... you need to immediately. You'll put it on everything once you do. Even pizza... yes it's true. I like the Mike's Extra Hot, but the regular is great too.
Cava Grill for lunch, then cooking a 16 hr marinated Bavette steak on the grill for the game (dinner on the East coast). Asparagus and scalloped taters on the side and some Nulu Toasted Rye victory whiskey (I hope).
