Ok what are you all making for the Saints game tomorrow night?

I was planning to make Gumbo but that has been requested for Christmas Eve.

Steaks and baked potatoes. I'm not really allowed to eat red meat any more which sucks ass. I'm a red blooded 'merican in that regard. But goddammit I'm doing it for this Thursday game. Gonna pair that with a nice red, a loaf of home made french bread, and throw in a salad to feel healthy.

Going all in! :fistbump1::startstruck:

It's a 1am game here. I finish work until the 27th tomorrow so I will be able to watch the game but it will just be doritos and dips for me at that time. I will have beer available and motherfucking victory scotch however, I'm not a heathen.

Marinade short ribs in a Korean style marinade overnight or at least 3-4 hours beforehand. I make them in the air fryer, about 20 min of cook time.

Korean BBQ-inspired mix of soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, green onion, and garlic via my son's GF who is Korean.

She is making a Korean style lo mein as the primary side. Maggie is going to make a pile of won ton & a Chinese style slaw salad. And of course some Japanese beer (Sapporo).

Yeah we will pull out the very nice chop sticks Maggie's mom bought us in Chinatown LA.

God how I love short ribs.

Cottage Cheese is an elite dip with doritos.

I’ve got work tomorrow too, so I won’t be able to stay up for the game tonight. I’ll watch it on Game Pass when I get home in the afternoon.

In the meantime, I’m having a game day Popeye’s Spicy Deluxe.

My wife and I have a good friend (Shauna) who is a Die-Hard aints fan. She's meeting with my wife at around 5 this afternoon and she asked about coming over to watch the game with me. I told her Hell NO. So they are going out to dinner without me and then Shauna is taking her aint loving ass back to her own house for the game.

So I'll be eating Seasons 52 take-out since that's where they are going for dinner. Probably their pork chop with mashed potatoes. They do a great job on their pork chops... most restaurants over cook the shit out of pork chops... Seasons 52 cooks them medium rare just like I do.

Oh... and Rum.

Wow, total respect, can't watch the game with a Saint fan, even if her Aint loving ass is worth looking at. Also you are so right, it is hard to find a restaurant that cooks a pork chop correctly, quite impressive you have one in your area. Enjoy.

LOL.

Oh... she's DEFINITELY worth looking at. That fact made me pause for about 3-4 seconds before I told her that she ain't allowed in the house tonight.

That restaurant is a chain... Seasons 52. You probably have one up there too.
