Lots of leftovers around here…

What are YOUR plans for today?

Me; appetizers for early games... still thinking about what to make…!

Main meal will be leftovers.

Fried turkey sandwiches with fresh thick cut bacon, tomato, lettuce, hot banana peppers, extra mayo and light honey mustard. Oh... plus salt and pepper on Hawaiian roll bread.

Raw veggies and dip. Humus and a variety of olives and peppers.

Not sure if there's any leftover pies... but there is ice cream.

But my main meal will be hanging more lights out in the yard. I'm about to head out there now.

I haven't thought about what I'll eat yet. I'm still waking up with coffee. As I get older it seems to take a lot more coffee to get going. But I might eat a semi late breakfast that will carry me till dinner. So I'm thinking chips and salsa during the game with some grapes for my sweet tooth. Grapes or oranges. I don't do regular desserts. I'm not much of a sugar guy these days. I like to freeze grapes and eat them that way. Almost like ice cream snacks.

Going pretty easy today and back to adjusting one's intake. Turkey Cesar Salad as we close out the turkey consumption with some of my Mother's Menisha soup.

Ham, Bacon & Cheddar Breakfast Burritos with just the right amount of hash browns and pico de Gallo mixed in - with possibly a little bit of pepperoni
added (something magical about pepperoni with eggs)

That with Chelada red beer, homemade mix of course...a definite “breakfast of champions“ contender (that’ll do for the day, lol)

Hoping for ground chuck...

Ugh. I have a ton of leftovers as well. Mostly ham, which has me thinkin split pea with ham

A mountain of wings, homemade guac & chips, homemade seasoned fries (tip: blanch the fries allow to cool to room temp then season and air fry) and lots of cerveza to celebrate or drown the sorrow. LOL

If the Rams simply quit giving the game away they can beat the Packers going away. Please Matt, take what is given and quit holding the ball waiting for slow-developing plays when the rush is coming. Throwing it away is better than forcing the ball.

This is a revenge game and they need to play like it.
