The traditional thread returns. I think it's best to start this before gameday each week so we can shared ideas and have time to prepare!

Simple for me this week - traditional Scottish supper of Haggis, Neeps (turnips) and Tatties. Served with oatcakes and a homemade whisky sauce.

Obviously there will also be beer and victory Scotch. I am making an Apple Crumble as well which I will serve with good quality vanilla ice cream.

What are you all having?!

Edit to add - this menu is for the Sunday games, i will not be having a full meal at 2am when the Rams are actually on this week! Maybe just chips and dips for that!

I have to say my man, that this reads like an order for a stripper on Craig's list, lol.

I am going to do hot wings and some sort of soup. Probably hot and sour. Crap, now my meal is starting to sound like a stripper order....

Well, weeknights are totally different from weekends, my trophy bride & I work late although working from home for the both of us, is a plus, but we are usually both done around 6:30-7pm so we will do a Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad and I don't drink during the week so it's Pellegrino Mineral Water for me as my wife enjoys the hint flavored watermelon.

I’m doing a beef stew on Sunday, low and slow. Rich and dark as I can make it. (y)

I've been back and forth on food for Monday night.

I finally nailed it.

My wife had a coworker share a recipe for sloppy joes that is so good.

We can throw it in the cooker and let it go all day and not have to worry when both of us get off of work dinner will be done.

I'll get a photo up for you. It has the look and texture of ground beef.

Today... I'm gonna make a giant pot of my version of spicy Italian sausage, peppers, onions, and sauce.

I grill the sausage on my egg before adding it into my giant cauldron of sauce.

You can eat it by itself, put it on some pasta, or even put it on a bun.

I'm gonna make enough for an army.

Picked me up a half bushel of oysters, made some sauce, candied some jalapenos to match with cream cheese on a variety of crackers. Ready to go.

I love this stuff.

I make a relish... blending my jalapeños finely then simmering with a shit-ton of sugar, until thick like runny jelly.

Cool. It will be thick like relish.

Then... Take that relish to a cracker spread with cream cheese... :horns:

8 pound brisket on the smoker

I slow cooked a brisket last night. Had the leftovers on Nachos with a pico de gallo and a tonne of cheese for a snack this afternoon. It was even better the second day.
