With injuries over the course of a season, you never know what might shake out. With his own lengthy injury history and the way he bounced around the league in recent years, he knows his next stop is probably his last, so he wants it to be the right one. A role player on a contending team, it's not inconceivable.
The kicker for him is he asked off the Rams last year, but TBH I don't see where or how he could've filled the OBJ role. It looked good on paper and maybe in practice, but Stafford-Jackson connection never materialized during the games. DJax doesn't have much to offer other than what we saw last year, whether he can accept it or not. Still has his speed but he's at the end of the road.
