Wow, that's pretty damn suspicious. Throw out 2013 and you can change that from a scientific theory to a scientific law.

I took Calculus, Assembler, Quantitative Analysis and other tough classes in college but the hardest class I took was a monster Statistics class. For the above to be a coincidence requires odds on the order of winning the lottery. Something happened and using under-inflated footballs for better retention is one possible explanation which seems increasingly likely the longer we can't think of another one.

Now, if we could only get data like this on all of the Refs and the penalties called by big play, then we'd really be able to expose the NFL in a way that they could not refute.

Not yet, not officially, but I would think, judging by Bryan's gleeful tweet, that it has to be Brady or Belichick. Thinking Brady, but what do I know?

I think this all had to come from the coach. Most Runningbacks wouldn't think of it. My guess is he and Brady probably both knew about and discussed it.

The NFL already has interviewed more than 40 people associated with the Cheats. I think they already know who did it, but now they are trying to be certain that what he did isn't against the rules as written. In other words, perhaps the Cheats filled the balls with helium, a gas that would have contracted more than regular air by the time of kickoff. I don't think there is a rule AGAINST using helium, so what then? Or what, as one scientist hypothesized, if the filled up the balls in the sauna room, where temperatures can be fairly extreme on the high side? And then they took them out to be checked by the refs? Again, not against the rules although morally and ethically suspect.

So, the NFL has a huge problem on its hands, especially with one CNN writer saying that the Pats should forfeit the game and let the Colts play in the SB.

It's Ernie Adams, he is the one who designs all of the this. It's not a one-off incident, the entire Patriots organization is setup to look for edges within and without the rules. The will have to totally clean house, perhaps even ownership, to fix that rot.
