It was tongue and cheek for number 5 and Pat Haden sucked...Smart guy, but when he had to throw the ball 50 yards, he would throw it 30 and they would ask Ferragamo to throw it the other 20.

Warner, Ferragamo, Everett, Bulger, Van Brocklin.

Aside from Warner at #1, I don't think there is any set order.

Chris Miller was better than Bulger.

At 54.6 career comp % and a low to mid 70s career rating I'm not sure Miller belongs on a top 5 list.

Better than Bulger, I have to disagree.

Bulger should be in this list....And there is NO SHAME putting in there. He had a successful career and was very impressive before the Oline collapsed on him.

Chris Miller was better than Bulger.

I was going to mention Chris Miller. He was a gamer, but couldn't stay healthy.

But better than Bulger? No way. Miller had 1 season greater than 90 passer rating... Bulger averaged better than 90 over six consecutive seasons 2002-2006.

Bulger should definitely be on this list.

Bulger took some beatings but the line Miller played behind was criminal! He could have been really good for a long time with even an average line but the FO let him get murdered.

I like this, switch Vince for Chris Everett, and thats perfect. Like you, can't rate NVB, and the real Roman (the one I saw was garbage, kinda like Namath) but I'd assume they beat a few out on this list...
Oh yeah, saw Haden live (college & pros) and HE DID throw a mean deep ball...check his highlights...
Damn shame what they put James Harris through...He was an exceptional player...Top 2 in arm talent (gotta put Chris Everett at #1).....
