Percy Harvin decides to retire

Over the past several weeks, veteran receiver Percy Harvin has been considering his football future. He finally has decided to put football in his past.
Per a league source, Harvin has informed the Bills and people close to him that Harvin has decided to retire.
Harvin struggled with the decision; not long ago, he definitely intended to play. After considering his options (the Bills and other teams wanted to sign him), Harvin has decided to move on. As the source explained it, Harvin looks forward to life after football.
Still only 27 years old, Harvin entered the league in 2009, as a first-round pick of the Vikings. He became the NFL’s offensive rookie of the year that season, which nearly culminated in a Super Bowl berth. Traded to the Seahawks in 2013, Harvin played sparingly due to a hip injury, but he arguably was the best player on the field in Super Bowl XLVIII.
He was traded by the Seahawks to the Jets during the 2014 season, and he signed last year with the Bills.
