I know most of you either somewhat follow, follow, or used to follow WWE or WCW back in the day. I came across this video which made me lmao so hard! Brought back a ton of memories!

This video is when WWE just bought WCW and it was shut down and some of the stars started crossing over. This was amazing especially in with The Rock's height as a wrestler at the time.

That was the one that immediately came to mind, along with Jericho's return. Man, the WWE just can't touch the sort of charisma today that guys like Jericho, Rock, Austin, etc. brought in their primes.

Man totally agree bro! I've tried to watch in a few times in last 7 or so years and just seems to fake and boring. It seems like they have fake and unreal type of guys now where Austin, The Rock, HHH, Jericho seemed like their personality in WWE was almost an extension of themselves in IRL which like you said brought out the watchability of it.

When CM Punk entered the ring to "Cult of Personality" after taking the title from Cena, the place rocked. First because he had just changed it from the Killswitch intro (which was awesome BTW) and nobody knew who it was and secondly because he riding a wave of popularity I hadn't seen since Stone Cold.
Unfortunately, WWE has taken a severe downhill turn since.
I don't know how their viewership is faring but I didn't understand the need to push their fans to the WWE App when they had such good ratings on network TV and continue to do so

I was never a big fan of the Rock. He was too corny. Stonecold all the way for me. After him and his hilarious feud with Vince nothing has been as entertaining for me.


For anyone who has HBO, I highly recommend the Andre the Giant story the are playing right now.

This freak used to eat a styrofoam cup and act like he was completely uncontrollable as he entered the ring back in the day (old school). I couldn't find any video evidence of that... but I saw it many times.

Apparently he moved on to raw chicken after the styrofoam.
