Chip Kelly is a d!ck. He's the anti-Fish when it comes to QB support in the face of things not going the way he wants them.

So in a way I'm happy for you that you get to run a real passing offense. But I also think at some point you're gonna look back fondly at the support you got from Fish and this regime and wonder what could have been had you simply lessened your cap hit and allowed them to stack this offense around you. Because you'll be seeing this Rams team in the playoffs next season and here's hoping our defense tees the F off on you and your Philly buds.

Haha wouldn't that be interesting if we meet him in the playoffs? Knowing irony in life I wouldn't doubt this happening. Good story line to...

My one tip to Sam:

Dont suck. The media in Philly will kill you more than they are killing you now on sports radio

And if you do suck, wear your helmet while on the sidelines...especially if it is snowing

now I'm pissed at Bradford for not taking a cut therefore putting us in this position. all we did was trade uncertainty for more uncertainty. I don't hold grudges against players for leaving teams but this is all just so fucked up

Sort of my take. I don't know why I have such loyalty, but I really like Sam and wish him all the best.

Seemed to be a solid teammate but if he wanted to be a really good teammate he would've taken the pay cut

Good point on the fans and holy cow are you correct. Between them and Chip, Sam had better be on his game man.

If we do, I know who the team captain will be in that game.

I hope if we're not playing him, I can find myself rooting for him to tear it up against whoever they are playing.

I think we do play the NFC East this year, and the AFC North

but as of right now who knows if SB is going to stay in Philly

Can't blame him for not wanting to take a cut. Playing for the Rams has directly impacted his ability to earn in the future, so in that regards he didn't owe this team any favors. Self-preservation wise it may have helped him, but who knows, maybe reducing his number would have just guaranteed this trade happening quicker.

In retrospect, I don't blame him for not wanting to take a paycut. No sane employee would take a paycut knowing what they'd be getting realistically. However, his unwillingness to restructure indicates that he doesn't have that much confidence in staying healthy.

Good luck to you Sam, you're gonna need it in Philly.
My advice:make your own decisions and don't let an agent make his bankroll more important than your happiness and career.

now in his final contract year is what will determine his future. if he thought it was better taking his money to philly after losing a bunch of offensive weapons on that team then ok. instead he could've restructured fortified his line and tried ballin with the guys he looked so good with in preseason.if he blows it in philly then he's probably done. but w/e guess we'll find out after this season.

Wasn't a Bradford fan at first wanted Suh. But the kid grew on me. He just couldn't catch a break and I was always cheering for him. I hope he does well except against us.

I do too. I felt sick when I heard about the trade...almost like a break up with your girlfriend kind of feeling. Then I saw a bunch of people trashing our NEW QB and decided to focus my emotions on defending HIM, haha. I think a lot of us were convinced Sam was the guy to lead us out of that miserable era of bumbled draft picks and shitty football. And he damn well could have been. He showed nothing but heart and class and damn near got us to the playoffs twice. Alas, it was a cursed relationship. Hopefully both parties will be better post breakup, but I will miss Sammy, and still feel kinda icky when I think of all he could have been for the Rams. Wish him the best of luck wherever he ends up.

Good luck in philly Bradford, If Chip trades up for Marriota successfully, Good luck wherever because I highly doubt you will have the support you had here.
