Get off his lawn: Saints coach Joe Vitt injured chasing burglars

The Saints have recently rediscovered how to defend their home turf.
Maybe they learned it from Joe Vitt.
According to Ramon Antonio Vargas of the New Orleans Advocate, the veteran assistant coach suffered some serious injuries while chasing burglars away last weekend.
Vitt suffered a torn Achilles tendon and broke his wrist after falling down when he was running after two people who were breaking into his and his neighbor’s cars.
The Saints said Vitt “has not missed any work” after being hospitalized.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Vitt was at home at 3:50 a.m. Saturday when he saw a shadow moving across his lawn. He stepped outside to investigate and saw a blonde woman wearing gloves trying to open his neighbor’s car. He then noticed a man in his own car, and chased the two off, before falling down injured.
Anyone with information about the burglars is asked to call Crimestoppers at 504.822.1111 or the Sheriff’s Office at 504.364.5300.
---------
Have him hire Gregg Williams to take them out.
---------
His car must be a Gran Torino…
