Thanks for the link. I didn't realize the Rams switched back to the blue & yellow in '73 because of a fan contest.

As god-awful as some of the golden age uniforms have looked when modernized(Bumble-bee Broncos, prison stripe Steelers, potato sack Packers...) I'm both leery and curious to see what the red throwbacks will look like if they do indeed go with them at some point as mentioned by Demoff.

My brain has a hard time processing the Rams as anything but blue so the old Cleveland uniforms don't seem like they'll work to me.

I still want to see a return to the '73-'99 uniforms as the base, the '63-'72 as the regular throwback and then '45 & '55 as championship/anniversary throwbacks. The '00-present uniforms I would have to think about when to bring them out of mothballs. There really haven't been too many positive associations with those colors.

Their introduction essentially coincided with the decline and death of the GSOT and a sustained era of futility.

I'm with ya on that one. The red and black can stay in the annuls of history for all I care. I wasn't around to see that uniform, and I don't care to see it now unless it's hanging in the HOF somewhere. KD answers enough questions about uniforms during every chat he hosts, so I assume he's aware that people would like to see the blue & whites now.

Growing up in the 60s and 70s, the blue/white and blue/yellow were
fantastic. As a kid I preferred the blue/yellow; however, years later
I now look back at that blue/white nostalgia and it is a clean look that
can't be beat.

One thing, make the horns wide like a real RAM horn and like the old
helmets. The current blue/gold uniforms blow, but the skinny horns
on the helmet are pathetic and look more like goat horns. Nothing
against goats, they are cool animals, but we are the RAMS.

I like the blue and white look. Clean. Modern. Fisher era!

I would like to see the Rams don the Blue and Gold and home and wear the Blue and White on the road.
