None of those throws are on Nick F0les, it's all Father Chip Kelly's fault!

He was late or behind on almost every one of those throws. Also, I hope our receivers will fight for the ball a little bit more.

That is all to be decided in the future.

Looks like on a lot of those throws Foles doesn't have his feet set and is trying too hard to make something happen deep down field.

Agree with all above ^^^. Maclin sure didn't do him any favors on some of those pics. However, Nick is going to have to learn to throw the ball away if there is nothing there. A lot of thows throws were back footed and late as mentioned above. Coachable.

There was exactly one throw that I was wondering, what the heck is he doing out there. It's the last one against the 49ers. Then I rewatched it and feel better knowing that it was 4th and 25 and Maclin, though triple covered, was the only WR running a route that had a shot for a 1st. He's got Cooper to the left but if he throws that one Cooper is a sitting duck and getting crushed. He's got 2 guys open but they've got to make 8 49ers miss, gain 20 yards, and hopefully get out of bounds.

Bunch of late ones to Maclin....under thrown...poor footwork...nervous time...still light years ahead of Davis, Hill, and Clemons.

I agree totally! Those were not very pretty but I can say I'll take him over Davis, Hill, Clemons any day. Case Keenum intrigues me.

I also noticed that he would get rattled with pressure but it was weird. It was like rattled for a second, and then regain confidence - at least compared to the rattled that Davis showed us last year.

Our offense is so different from that Chip Kelly offense. I feel it is going to give Foles a much better platform of comfort.

Every QBs interception highlight reel is going to look horrible. I don't believe Foles is a top flight QB. I think he is can be a solid guy that will keep us in games. With a great defense and great run game that's all we will need to win in the regular season. Playoffs may be a different story, but I was only 17 the last time we were in the playoffs.

Intriguing to be sure....I saw a lot of Foles in college out here...and he was as tough as they come...Took hits like a soldier...nothing like Mannion, but thats another story, but could still deliver a strike..off wrong foot...bad arm angle..still could throw for 400 yards....But it reminds me of the pro QB effect...there were some solid QB's that have been ruined by pressure & hits...I seriously think the first Carr could really play until all those sacks...Same with a guy you guys should know well..Jim Everett.and recently..Blaine Gabbert...Hits in the pros make them all move bad, the great ones can fix it...

anyone notice the scoreboard in a lot of those clips? not only was he forcing throws but they were always winning and a lot of times up double digits. this is the nick foles that made me think "oh shit" when I first heard about the trade. idk guess we'll all hold our breath til games start.

First two were "make a play" throws and the D made a good play.

3rd he was hit as he threw.

4th was a bad throw and decision.

5th was under thrown against a damn good defense.

6th and 7th poor under throws on the move, and late.

8th under thrown, late. Off back foot.

9th was a bad decision and careless throw.

10th back foot under thrown.

Looks to be he needs to watch out throwing off his back foot and if the play has developed too late don't throw it.

10 INT's??? didn't he throw like 30, or something? Why was everyone so up in arms about his TD/INT ratio? He'll be light years better than "pick 6" Davis & "Spike" Clemens.

10 in 2014, against 13 TD.

Really the only thing that's concerning was his propensity to throws passes with the HOPE that someone in a green jersey would come down with it. There are three receivers on this team who can help him out in that regard, but it's still a reckless style that I'm sure Fisher wants to clamp down on. Still. I'd rather see that (recklessness) than being uber-cautious.

He got away with many bad passes in his game against us last year.
