“Pay more for a known quantity” seems to be the one constant since McVay and Snead teamed up. They are not looking to “coach up” high draft picks—that’s what they do with their day 3/UDFAs. They used to trade their high picks for established players, now they draft in tandem.

Fiske and Verse should hit the ground running. That’s good because the Rams need those two to acclimate to the pro game ASAP to complete the front seven.
