This is getting flat out stupid now. A little bit of adversity for the first time and the criticism police come out in droves.

1. Eric Dickerson played on teams that had no passing game and he was the offense - so his perspective may be a "tad"skwed.
2. I disagree completely with the "we need to run the football more" standardized answer that 70% of the fans and 85% of the media always starts spewing when a QB or offense is struggling.

It depends on what the defense is doing, match-ups, ect.

The past couple years we were a run to set up the pass team, with a healthy Gurley and a solidifed o-line.

right now I don't think were capable of that.

Against the Bears we need to avoid lots of 2nd and long and 3rd and long.

How we get that done... maybe its the run. maybe its something else = but we need to avoid those situations.

Nothing wrong with his Rams criticism there IMO.
1. OLine
2. McV
3. Goff
...in that order for me in terms of the eazy peazy game of blame.

He's wrong about the Garrett thing though. Cowherd gets it. Many ppl out there(certain folks) seem to be mad that Rudolph hasn't received a suspension and are pointing at Rudolph for instigating Garrett because he attempted to remove his helmet while lying on his back with Garrett on top of him. Garrett started this entire thing with the completely unnecessary late contact and take down. Thats a fact. I still fully support no suspension for Rudolph. Fine him for defending himself, chasing after Garrett and call it a day. The right move.

In a tight game with over a quarter to run, it makes no sense to abandon the running game. Especially, when that was the one thing that was working

I don't care about what matchups we see. I don't care if we THINK it won't work at all and we'll punt 3 times....

Today for the Bears game I suggest the Rams run, run and the run it again from the very first play. Different kinds of run plays is fine. Even an occasional instant wide receiver screen pass. But run it and watch what happens and don't give up early.

If it was my decision, I would literally run the ball the first 10 plays in a row from scrimmage (a well scripted variety of different runs) NO MATTER how much yardage we gain from those 10 runs. JUST to be able to see what happens, and to screw with the minds of the Bears defense.

I feel we need to be very run heavy today EVEN IF our o-line is not very good. It has to be tried. We have to be different than our usual selves.

McVay HAD to have known our oline was not going to be as good as we had hoped. If not, then we really need to start treating training camps more like real game preparations. We have one of the best D's in the league and arguably the best D front. No way in hell the oline would be able to handle them if put in real situations, and we would have had a better look at what our oline was going to be like in real games. That is on McVay. So I have no problem handing McVay some of the criticism.

Lol @ the people all mad at any legit criticism regarding our team. Nothing he said was off the wall or off point.

With society going to a everybody gets a trophy criticism is looked at as an insult against one self. Smh.

ED is also the same guy who thought Mannion should be the QB. The 6'6" stork can not play can not play.

Yeah when Goff was a rookie with no practice time logged in regards to replacing the starter. :palm:

This is the only criticism that I have. We basically screwed this up over the offseason so badly it's hard to evaluate anything currently going on.
