I had/have plantar fasciitis. It's the tendon that runs along the bottom of the foot from heel to just below the toes. It gets inflamed over time from walking alot on hard floors without the optimum support in terms of shoes. It's extremely painful at times. Difficult to even walk. Nurses, long time retail types(like myself who spend most of 40 hrs/week walking) are prone to plantar fascia issues. Athletes too, but usually it's basketball players from the hardwood(Grant Hill, Kobe Bryant, for example).
It's chronic. Once you develop it, you have to manage it for life. Routine stretching exercises can help alleviate the problem, as well as more extreme measures like corticosteroid shots.
What i don't understand in relation to EJ Gaines is...did he already have plantar fasciitis and getting stepped on aggravated it? As far as i know you can't develop it from any single injury.
I read somewhere that KTRISTL signs were banned at practice? Also, how was the crowd?
He might have damaged the plantar fascia. Plantar fasciitis is the chronic disorder.
Nice. Hopefully this is the case with EJ.This.
I damaged the Plantar Fascia one summer while working on the side of a bank in sneakers. I had poor support. Boots were getting uncomfortable so I made the switch. DUMB. Anyways.......was diagnosed with the P Fasciaitis..........turned out wrong. Not a long term injury. Worked with it everyday. It was gone in a month.
