I got some coming in the mail in a few days, I will let you know.
The time has come to quit for myself and also my daughter who in a short time will be wondering why daddy keeps sneaking off.
Selassie I said:Good Luck kicking the nicotine guys, it's the devil.
I know it's not easy, but you can do it. Be proactive about it if you can,,, don't wait until you are forced to do it.
Quit smoking cigs over 4 years ago,,, and you can too.

quitting smoking is easy.. I have done it 100's of times.
I used to buy a boxes of toothpicks and soak them in peppermint oil.Ramhusker said:I'm on the "cold turkey" bandwagon. I quit cold turkey when my wife got pregnant with our first child 24 years ago. I used peppermints and sunflower seeds.
My wife has tried the nicotine gum and ecigs. The ecigs worked for her for a few months but she fell off that wagon too. I guess you really must want to quit to make any method work for you.

But. I have tried earlier versions of those things. Maybe they got better, but the ones I tried used to leak fluid onto your lips. I guess it was pure nicotine or whatever, but man it was awful. They are a whole lot *better* for you than regular cigarettes, but ... meh. They kinda suck too.
My best advice would be to sack up and go cold turkey. If I can do it, anyone can do it.
And I mean ANYONE.
It passes Psycho ,it does .Psycho_X said:Agreed with some here, cold turkey is thee only way to truly quit. I smoked for 13 years while quitting a good half dozen times in that span.... longest ever was 6 months. But would always sneak one in when a friend had one... or bum them at work... or buy a pack and throw half of them away.
Nothing worked until I just one day said I quit. Was three November 29ths ago... was an anniversary present to my wife so was no way I could go back on that promise lol.
And I still get intense cravings... in fact last week wife and I went out to eat... was a great meal... you know how awesome a smoke is after a great meal... stepped outside and got a big whiff of someone smoking outside. I could literally have taken hers out of her hands and did one long drag to the butt and not given it a second thought lmao. They will always be there but cold turkey is the only way to make them manageable in the long run.
Selassie I said:I remember how much I hated people telling me I should quit,,, encouraging me to quit,,,, offering to help me quit. Any of it. So I don't want to do that to anyone else.
I could only quit when I decided to do it. I'm not like that with other things though.
Anyway, I quit cold turkey too. Both times.
I quit once for over a year back in the late 90's. You guys will appreciate this,,, I picked them back up again during the NFL playoffs in 99.
I finally quit again almost 5 years ago. Done for good.
At the rate things are going people are about to be forced to smoke the e-cigs. There's almost no where left in public that smoking is even permitted anymore. Hell, I think I heard that smoking was banned in your personal vehicle in some places.
The e-cigs might even allow you to partake in places that you haven't been able to in years. There's got to be huge value in that.

There are places that are discussing (or already have) banning smoking inside your house.
