I believe we need a space gobbling NT more than another pass rushing DL. I do agree that a dominant Edge Rusher to pair with Fowler would put this teams pass rush over the edge.

Agree but I liked what I saw Sunday & the continual changes that Wade set up for Aaron Donald to get his mojo back. What I liked best was the flipping back & forth of Suh & Brockers (DE 5 tech/ NT). When Suh gets going so does Donald. AD had 3 sacks & 4 tackles-for-loss.

Ndamukong Suh finally showed some life with a solid performance on Sunday. Suh was a load to handle in the run game, closing lanes effectively and making the Cardinals running backs re-route mid-run. Suh registered a sack, a tackle-for-loss, and two pass deflections. It was a welcomed sight for one of the most expensive players on the team.

Getting a half sack implies that we have another guy who can make it to the QB at the same time, which is kind of a tall order for us right now. Technically 3.5, but we all know it's basically 4 or he doesn't break the record.

After Week 9 I told my friend I saw him tying Strahan’s record and I’m still sticking with that. If Brockers and Suh were playing like they are capable, I think Donald would have the record already.

AD lost a sack or two with the ticky tacky roughing the passers calls which didn't exist when Strahan was playing.

Yeah Suh is better at 5T. Dude just can't hold his water on the nose, he's better at DE in this defense and our defense is better when he's out there. Glad to see Wade moving the pieces around to try to maximize production.

Sure would be nice if Fowler could get rolling on the edge. Wade's defense is completely different when it has the edges set and rush production is there. Secondary seems to be settling a little bit, but that edge play is needed for us to get a defensive boost in the playoffs.

Oh and re: Donald... Personal records be damned, let's go get a Super Bowl.
