I does have to come into question his logic of why he Kicked a FG w/
39 seconds on 3rd & 6 down 11.

It makes ZERO SENSE.Well yes , The Rams needed 2 scores.

It didn't make sense. If you're going to dink and dunk your way all the way down there you have to go for the td on 3rd down.

But after watching his qb throw turds all game, especially in the redzone, he probably thought "screw it" and took the points on offer because there was no way Stafford was throwing a td pass in that area.

As soon as kwill started moving out of the backfield I thought the pass was going to him all the way. Then Stafford threw his ultimate turd. That would have been enough for Mcvay.

There was more chance hitting on a hail Mary than a Stafford pass in the redzone this game.

My point is just Why not throw the Football for a TD ? It only takes 6 seconds? Plus if you score you still have to convert The 2 points.

If you don’t convert the 2 points,then you know you needed 2 TD’s.I guess his thought was after a TD and no time they still get a a chance to conversed the extra piintd

Agreed. I have a much bigger problem that he didn't go for it there on 4th and Goal at the 4.

Even so if your looking ahead & have that mindset of 2 scores.Why run it 3rd & 1 with 1.11 left on the clock ?

Pass play stops the clock at 1 minute.If you score a TD of get out of bounds.Incompletion brings up 4th down & you KICK a FG with 1 minute.
