They were lucky to skirt by with a win last week. Colt McCoy is and will continue to be a journeyman backup. Kyler Murray. was a first overall pick that most of the time.... plays the part Hopkins can put out a pretty convincing argument, he's the best WR in the game. Or at least top 5 easily. Take those 2 out of the lineup and they aren't anywhere near the same team. Look what happened to us when we played Green Bay w/o (for the most part....) Donald. Everyone saw the writing on the wall pretty quickly.
Injuries happen. Teams have to persevere. If reserves don't step up and play fantastically, you have what you did today. Now the Cardinals are a special case. While Murray is an unbelievable talent, his overall size, makes his extremely susceptible to injury. Look how he's finished the seasons the last few years. Just beat up. And my guess that will always be a knock on him.
Now us ...... Take away those 2 unadvised plays by Stafford and we're tied in the 4th quarter. 2 plays where better judgement could have changed the outcome of the game. The Titans were better prepared and got the most out of what they had. But we're still 7-2. And only have lost to 2 teams with the same record as us. Our destiny is still in our own hands. We just have to execute.
