Kendrick's Ram tenure, (This one)

"Derion, what did Seattle do when this happened???"

"Derion, what did Seattle do when THAT happened???"

Okay thanks.

Waivers.
One can only hope. I made multiple posts about cutting that guy not so long ago. Its like a bad dream.
Milk him for info, waivers.
I am getting used to not screaming at the TV when we have to endure his drove killing penalties. Not to mention getting smoked. We have such great DB play right now, why mess with it ?

Didn’t he though? I thought he was flagged and fined for that. Maybe I’m misremembering though.

Edit: I guess he was fined - not flagged. The team itself was also fined 100k for that crap.

Had he gotten flagged for that - and he very well could've - San Fran would've had an opportunity to make a chip shot field goal. Maybe Moody misses that, but if that's the case, it goes to overtime, and we possibly lose the only game we won at that point in the year.

He's a fucking idiot on and off the field. I hate that he's back. I don't know what the hell anyone could see in him as a player other than that he's decently big.

Vannett is the more important signing, imo. The guy is huge and plays more like a tackle. I doubt he catches more than a couple meaningless catches, but I bet he sets a bunch of important blocks for us.

"i just don't get it , what do they see in this guy"...

wannabees that know more than the people(mcvay snead) that get paid for what the wannabees wish they were capable of doing., lol at your takes.....

mcvay and snead think your opinions suck,,

why? because they might know more than you do..

go ahead and list ALL the boneheaded plays kendricks is responsible for...

and then watch all the plays where, because we had no one better, kendricks was put on the oppositions BEST receiver...

and in most games they were shut down almost all game... and yeah there were occasions where he got beat (welcome to the cornerback position), but on the whole he was pretty good...

if not. why else was he out there? GAME AFTER GAME

and don't give me your bullshit that he was constantly beat... he wasn't... if so he would have been benched...

what i did see was a big physical corner that played well enough against the best... ask DK metcalf...

and to the keyboard coach"s and keyboard GM.s... get a fucking clue... you know nothing about why they would bring him back,. only your set in stone hatred for a kid trying his damnest to make a living... ..

you don't have to root for him...

and yes his boneheaded mistakes made me cringe... but he was playing pretty good against the best...

i'm gonna trust the guys that get paid to analyze players...

not the keyboard know nothings that watch the network feeds and form "rock solid" opinions... LMAO

go sean mcvay

go les snead

bring in the best you can despite "expert analysis"...

hilarious thing is... i may be the only guy on the board that approves this move...

go rams

Yeah.. Kendrick is just depth that was available and knows the system. Hard to find a better fit this time of season.
I believe it’s that simple. Unless more players get hurt, he probably doesn’t see the field much.

Because he is familiar with the system, he COULD step in sooner than most, though. Forbes, for example, would not have been playing like he is now had he been asked to step in after being on the Rams for only a week or so.

You want me to list his mistakes? I could spend a field day with all of the penalties he's taken. How about the aforementioned San Fran play when he was in street clothes at the end of the game that he and the team were fined for that could've been a penalty, and had it been a penalty, likely could've cost us the only game in five that we won that span? How about the taunting penalty after his rare interception (against Seattle where he taunted the entire bench after his play, which drew the flag)? How about all of the defensive holdings, pass interferences, and illegal contacts that are somehow acceptable to you? That's not even getting into all the times he's been burned on plays by receivers.

And yes, he is an idiot off the field as well, unless you think being arrested for the exact same thing in LA that he was arrested for - and kicked off Clemson for - in college is smart?

I don't fucking like Kendrick as a player or a person, and we're allowed to say those things as fans on a message board, that we don't understand why a team brings a player like him back to potentially put him in a starting job. It's not dogging the team as a whole, but every coach and GM has made mistakes when it comes to personnel; nobody's perfect, after all.

I wouldn't mind him nearly as much if he wasn't playing for us. But with Forbes, Durant, Witherspoon, Williams, and Wallace, why should we waste any time on a player who has more penalties and boneheaded mistakes than positive players?

The hope is that he's matured some. He was good in preseason.

One of the reasons the rams are kicking ass is because they very rarely get penalties and make stupid mistakes. Now they are letting that shit in the door. He was on the field because they had no one better at the time and Morris was the DC. If he was so good why did Shula cut him when he was finally healthy.
By the way, he covers and stays with guys by being physical. Which is a nice way of saying illegal use of the hands, illegal contact and holding.

Everyone needs to get a grip. I doubt seriously that Kendricks even sees the playing field, on game day, for the Rams this season.

The obsession with this guy is baffling. If McVay wanted him on the team, good enough for me. No one else's opinion on it really matters.
