Sorry. I disagree with this take. Mistakes do not define an individual and the ability to rebound from mistakes builds character and creates leaders.
Mistakes do not mean there should not be consequences, especially for something as serious as speeding under the influence (and before anyone says to me it isn't serious, I'll point at Khyree Jackson and his friends, Isaiah Hazel and Anthony Lytton Jr., and the Gaudreau brothers as high-profile deaths to drunk drivers - and I'm just talking about high-profile cases this year).
I wish McVay would've benched his ass for the next game for his stupidity and selfishness. Believe me, I wouldn't be nearly that lenient.
