Well it is an emotional day for the Rams fans of St. Louis. I debated laying low with my lists, in order to let guys sort through things. :hiding: But in the end, my momentum was just too strong with these things. I MUST LIST!! o_O No, not like that.

Besides, This list is top-heavy with St. Louis era guys.

So, with love to our St. Louis brothers, I proceed. :grouphug:

The Top Ten All Time Ram PUNTERS (Pro bowls in parenthesis):
  1. Johnny Hekker. '12-'15 He has already equaled the total number of pro bowls of all other Ram punters COMBINED (2):yess: ....eh...:homercrawl:just one stain on his record.
  2. Donnie Jones '07-'11. Dude could also punt. Who knew we were to get an upgrade when he left.
  3. Sean Landetta. '93-'96, '03-'04. Left and then came back.
  4. Dale Hatcher. '85-'91. Pro Bowl in '85. (1)
  5. Dave Chapple. '72-'74 (1)
  6. Don Bracken. '92-'93.
  7. Rick Tuten. '98-'99
  8. Glen Walker. '77-'78
  9. John Kilgore. '65-'67
  10. John Misko. '82-'84
HM: Mitch Berger, John Baker

Johnny Hekker is quite the kicker, and quite the kidder. I hope he is with us for years.

Can't wait!! " YOU BETTER GET IT RIGHT!!":rolllaugh:

For Dave, The (slightly rushed) (n)Top Ten Ram DEFENSIVE ENDS:
  1. Donald Evans.'87 I mean, he was a first round pick. Right? Could help explain the ushering in of all those great teams of the '90's.
  2. Brad Ottis. '94-'95. Another successful top rounder unleashed on quarterbacks!
  3. George Platukis. '42. I know he sounds like an endangered sea mammal, but this guy was a BEAST!!!.... I think he got called off to war, or something.
  4. Billy Ray Smith Sr. '57. He broke the Rams "achy-braky heart" and ran off to another team.
  5. Walt Uzdavinis. '37. "Uz" of course is a household name to all of us....:palm::bueller:
  6. C.J. Ah You. '09-'11. Would ease offensive lineman with the comforting words on the back of his jersey, then....BAM!! :shooting:
  7. Al Cowlings. '75,'77. His greatest play, however was on offense years later as the lead blocker for OJ on his "low speed chase". :lifting:
  8. Bob Cobb '81. Really. Bob Cobb. You couldn't have gone by Robby, or something. :snicker:
  9. Jack Zilly. '47-'51. You think you can block him? That's just Zilly. :shades:
  10. Jack Bighead. '55. :baghead: He went both ways. :banana:No. Not like that. Anyway. Again, sadly. He didn't last long. Equipment issue.
So there we have it! The slightly rushed, so DAVE'51 doesn't have to wait:notsure: Top Ten Defensive Ends list.

...maybe I'll take a closer look. :hijack:

In all honesty, I'd have him into my pub for a few beers and talk football smack about all the other teams in the NFL.

Hey 503, love the new avatar. New start for 2016? Is there a story behind that photo?

And one more thing. It's hard to tell, but you aren't the guy in the middle in the plaid shorts are you? No offense. It's just...you know, your representing the horns!

I wear plaid shorts about 300 days a year thank you.

That picture was taken by a Rams photographer at the home opener. Someone noticed it on the Rams website and let me know it was on there. I got hold of Kevin Demoff and asked him if he could track it down and maybe get me an autographed copy of it. What they sent was an anodized copy on aluminum with a frame behind it so it could be hung on the wall. He had Fish sign it for me. It is hanging high on the wall in my pub.

To my left is my dad who had just turned 80, and to my right is our own @Selassie I . A bunch of us converged on the Lou for a memorial to @Thordaddy on opening weekend. Obviously we were shaking the rafters or why else would they take the pic. There were a bunch of us ROD members in that section so I'm not sure how I got front and center but I'll take it.

You can find a bunch of pictures of the get together here:

Bump. I guess you CAN rent out Johnny for the day!

What a guy. This is a guy living in the moment. Appreciating the blessing of the time he has in the NFL.

Not taking himself too seriously. Not attributing his gifts to his own superiority. But appreciating those gifts and using his influence to spread joy and hope to others. Think that is an overstatement? I don't.

Contrast Johnny with a Kaepernick RGme or Johnny Ffftball. He's gets it.
(y) Proud to call him Our Punter.
