Ah screw it, given how much hype we gave this kid during preseason, let's give him his own thread. Yes, just for a guy who "might" be elevated from the PS this week.

Connors will single-handedly save our Special Teams!

And lead the resistance against Skynet!

There's a chance Whittington could return from injury this week. But he's been a total bust at KR too.

It might be a slight risk, but I think it's worth it to see what Connors can do as a KR. Nobody else has shown a damn thing.

Connors has very little return experience. A total of 9 KO returns with a low average in college.

Agreed. Hope they give him a shot anyway. In the preseason we all saw that he's got natural talent and he's a playmaker. Since they let him have a kick return in preseason, I'd imagine the coaches are at least considering the possibility.

I recall Connors making a "splash" tackle on ST in preseason. He looked good in all phases. McVay said the decision would be based on ST value. I'd be really surprised if Waters gets the call up over Connors.
