Doubt Ford, Layne or Winovich will be there where you suggest.

Ford was a top 15-20 mocked player.

Winovich and Layne are 2nd rounders.

Could be, but Ford is now only 13 picks before our next pick. There were a number of 1'st round surprises, I imagine there will be several more on Day 2.

Yet here he is, available in the 2nd round. He has fallen. A number of players that people have been mocking to the Rams have fallen. There is a good chance that one or more of them will be available at #45.

Stickin to my previous prediction: they covet Jace Sternberger. Dude is explosive by the Rams' metric: smooth with good hands, can stretch the seam as a TE, and has ability to extend plays in yards after contact. Excellent body control. He is a special passing game weapon.

And I don't think he's going to be a difficult study in blocking, he's got the will for it.

Oh and Winovich is a very good guess I think by you guys. Although if they do covet him there's gonna be some sweating in the draft room tomorrow night lol.

My prospects for strong considerations:

#45
LT-Greg Little- nice fit in Kromer's scheme
CB- Rock Ya-Sin
OL-Elgton Jenkins- can play all five OL posts in Kromers scheme.
RG/LG-Jawaan Taylor
CB-Greedy Williams
RT/RG/LG-Dalton Risner- instant plug in @ RG/RT or LG
QB- Drew Lock - long range paying dividends investment in his value after having McVay as his HC for a few seasons in tradeable draft value.
FS- Chauncey Gardner-Johnson

#79
CB-Byron Murphy
FS-Juan Thornhill- perfect fit in Wade's D
CB-Nasir Adderley
DE-Jaylon Ferguson
CB-Lonnie Johnson
CB-Julian Love
