LOL. I thought they would never stop asking questions that he clearly didn't want to answer, and then AFTER that, I thought he'd never stop talking.

X, I wanted to mention what a great job you did posting all the media events surrounding Fisher's hire. This WAS the place to see all of that. Kudo's.

I agree when he asks why we are destroying a 20 year old building. I don't find it that bad.
I agree. I think it definitely needs some renovations though. It needs to somehow get more lighting in there (glass panels are fine). They should also try to get the land north of the stadium and develop it. I truly think that's something Kroenke would really like to have. Get that area, make more parking there and develop the area with shopping/bars.

For those of you not from St. Louis, downtown St. Louis sucks. There's nothing to do there and it just looks dead on the weekends. Granted with some of the Washington Ave developments it is improving, but still all of the cool places to hang out (the loop, Soulard, Central West End, downtown Clayton, etc) are miles away. But if Kroenke could be given access to that land, via eminent domain (I mean let's face it there's not much there anyway) and he could bring in some people to develop it, he could make a ton of money and give people something to do down there. With more things to do down there and a livelier scene, they could attract more conventions/sporting events, and so the CVC could end up making more money. It really is a win-win.
