Budweiser is piss water. Sam Adams SMOKES anything AB makes.
Most American beers are piss water. If you want a good beer get an import.
Or a microbrew.......so many of them are fantastic and get overlooked when people are in the store buying.....buy American!!!
OK , maybe a little "license" in this post, if you look at the label of products they list the ingredients and those lists are supposed to be in close tolerances of accuracy, there ARE people whose job it IS to check those tolerances and they issue citations of violation where they vary beyond those tolerances.
According to one of those inspectors I conversed with Sam Adams is the most inconsistent beer he evaluates.
Budweiser is the King of Beers and became that when people weren't consumed with the image of sophistication generations of Yuppy inculcation has produced.
I was raised in a town where you could buy beer for your dad at a church picnic ( IOW "here boy, take this quarter and go get me a beer" )at the age of 5,bring it back 2/3 full and your dad would laugh and say "if you want your own beer ya little shit ,say so".
As an aside here my dad was mayor of that town when AB introduced "Busch Bavarian Beer" ,later shortened to "Busch" . AB brought the Clydesdales to our town for a parade we had Memorial Day,Independence Day , Armistice Day, Veterans Day, Labor Day parades around the courthouse "square" can't remember which parade it was, anyway they presented my dad with the first case of Busch Bavarian in the county. He drank ONE, said it'd never sell :lmao: and never touched the rest, when he threw it away my friends and I dug it out of the trash and drank it. :hehe:
I usually drink Bud Select for the lower carbs , but on a real hot day at the US Open last week one of the ladies from the Tenn. entourage offered to buy me a beer ,she got me a Miller Lite and damn it tasted good. Heineken was all they had on draft, like Guiness by the second your taste buds are sensitized to the stuff you're drinkin' and it all seems to have come out of the same horse.
