I Posted this in another thread...

I was starting to get worried about that Bears game, (I still think it will be a tough road game), but man, they have had a really easy schedule so far.

Week - Result
1 - Lost to the Packers
2 - Beat the Seahawks when they had no Identity
3 - Beat the Cardinals by 2
4 - Beat the Bucks
5 - Bye Week
6 - Lost to the Dolphins
7 - Lost to the Patriots
8 - Beat the Jets
9 - Beat the Bills
10 - Beat the Lions
11 - Beat the Vikings

The Vikings are the only team that they have beaten that currently have a winning record. The teams they have beaten have a combined record of 25-44-2

After looking at that, I am not sure how impressed I am with them.

That's the only game left I'm really worried about.

Not that they are like the Saints, Pats, or Chiefs but it will be at night at night in cold ass Chicago and their fans are going to show! Their offense is pretty decent and their D can be with Mack.

I still think we win but will be contested.

Hopefully we have some folks from the Show Me state area head up north and rout on our Rammies!

Bears game will be tough. Their tough, and that qb scrambles all over the place really well.

Rams will kill them though! 15-1 looking very doable.

Lions
Eagles
Bears
9ers
Cards

That's almost a full on cake walk of a schedule!

.

we're onto detroit.

.

haha, just on bellifat, a reporter asked him today if he watched the mnf game. he said he watched a bit of it. the reporter then asked if he had any takeaways from the game. he said we're getting ready for the jets, that was my takeaway.

After the gauntlet we just went through, we deserve it.

I'm glad McVay and this Rams team will take nothing for granted.

In the PCs prior to the game, if you listen to McVay, you'd think Detroit was the top team in the conference. He respects EVERY opponent and that's why this team wins the games they should.

Bears defense is real guys , they have multiple players at each level of the defense .

I think this will be a huge challenge for our guys, not many good defense left in the NFL. The bears are 1 of the better ones.

It's their D that I'm most concerned with tbh... I know we can fight it out with any O in the league, but that Bears D could cause us problems... but I keep saying if we want to win the SB, we just have to beat everyone, treat each team with the respect that they deserve, because on any given Sunday, ANYTHING is possible!!

What could be worrying is, depending on results of our next three games, is what sort of team McVay puts out against the 49ers and cardinals.
We may likely be playing for homefield advantage, so McVay will probably opt for strong teams.
I wouldn't sleep on the Bears, and the Eagles.
Tough games. Keep us alert and ready.
I actually wish they were the final two games of the regular season.

I think I've heard McVay admit that it was a mistake to rest the players against the 49ers last season...

I will assume our Offense will keep on keeping on. If our Defense improves at all (say 10%) once Talib gets back and our EDGE rush settles in I don’t see the Rams starters (chance they sit to rest 1-2 weeks) losing another regular season game.

It's the one thing I enjoy about Bellicheat.
His clear impatience and disdain for the media is great.

It depends I guess.
I doubt the team lost to the Falcons because they rested week 16. McVay takes blame for stuff which is fine.
Goff was confused and the Rams couldn't stop the run.
So it goes.
Those last two weeks of things get out of hand....a 31-6 lead late third quarter let's say.....I'd still sit some key cogs.
Thing is, unless this D gets it together at least a little bit no game will be a blow out.

Saints last three games are @ Panthers, home Steelers, home Panthers.

The Rams won't be able to rest at all because it's unlikely the Saints lose 2 games which means that to get the #1 seed, they have to win out.

If somehow the Saints lose twice prior to week 17, say @ Cowboys, @ Panthers, then MAYBE the Rams might rest some people in the final game.

If the Saints only lose once, then they'll have to plan to play everyone which will dictate the inactives and they won't know the Saints' final disposition until just before kickoff.

So, even if they somehow go 14-1 and then lose at home to the Panthers, the Rams would still have to play the season out to win.

Basically, unless the Saints crap the bed or Brees gets injured, the Rams will have to play to win out.

Edit: All that said, I'd LOVE to see the Bucs sweep the Saints... that would make me very, very happy indeed.

I think we drop one to the Lions or Bears. Lions always seem to have our number when we're dominant and play them late in the season. That's a 1pm EST game, too.

But last year after the bye, we put up 50+ on the Giants so who knows haha.
