    1

    JAMEIS WINSTON
    QB
    FLORIDA ST.

Winston has some immaturity issues, but he has ideal size, arm strength and touch. He’s ready to play Day 1.
  2. PICK NO.
    2

    RANDY GREGORY
    OLB
    NEBRASKA
Gregory is tall, long and explosive. The Titans could take a QB here, but instead opt to add more punch to their pass rush .
  3. PICK NO.
    3

    DANTE FOWLER, JR.
    OLB
    FLORIDA
Fowler has an explosive burst and strong hands and plays with fanatical effort. He’ll be a great fit for Gus Bradley’s defense.
  4. PICK NO.
    4

    KEVIN WHITE
    WR
    WEST VIRGINIA
The Raiders need to surround their young QB with weapons. White is a complete receiver, and his competitiveness is off the charts.
  5. PICK NO.
    5

    LEONARD WILLIAMS
    DE
    USC
The Redskins need help in several areas, and Williams would be a steal at this spot. He can dominate versus the run and pass.
  6. PICK NO.
    6

    MARCUS MARIOTA
    QB
    OREGON

A new regime usually means a new signal-caller. Mariota needs some time to develop, but he could be the answer to the Jets' QB woes.
  7. PICK NO.
    7

    SHANE RAY
    DE
    MISSOURI
Ray is a dynamic edge rusher, something the Bears desperately need.
  8. PICK NO.
    8

    AMARI COOPER
    WR
    ALABAMA

Roddy White isn’t getting any younger, and Cooper would be a perfect complement to Julio Jones. Roll Tide!
  9. PICK NO.
    9

    DANNY SHELTON
    NT
    WASHINGTON
The Giants need to get stronger up front, and Shelton is a force vs. the run. He would slow the rushing attacks in Dallas and Philadelphia.
  10. PICK NO.
    10

    TRAE WAYNES
    CB
    MICHIGAN ST.
It’s not a great year for CBs, but Waynes is intriguing. He has good size, speed and agility. His physical style will appeal to Jeff Fisher.
  11. PICK NO.
    11

    DEVANTE PARKER
    WR
    LOUISVILLE

This pick would reunite Parker with his former college quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater.
  12. PICK NO.
    12

    T.J. CLEMMINGS
    OT
    PITTSBURGH
This class has depth at the tackle position but lacks elite prospects. Clemmings isn’t sexy, but he’ll be a solid Day 1 starter at RT.
  13. PICK NO.
    13

    ARIK ARMSTEAD
    DT
    OREGON
Armstead is similar in size to Calais Campbell and is a better player out of college. He would perfectly complement Junior Gallette and Cam Jordan.
  14. PICK NO.
    14

    BENARDRICK MCKINNEY
    ILB
    MISSISSIPPI ST.
McKinney has the size to bang inside with linemen and plenty of speed/athleticism to make plays in coverage.
  15. PICK NO.
    15

    MALCOM BROWN
    DT
    TEXAS
Justin Smith might’ve played his last NFL game, and Brown is a plug-and-play prospect. He has excellent strength at the point of attack.
  16. PICK NO.
    16

    ANDRUS PEAT
    OT
    STANFORD
I was a bit disappointed after studying Peat, but he has excellent size, quick feet and football smarts. He’s young and should continue to develop.
  17. PICK NO.
    17

    EDDIE GOLDMAN
    DT
    FLORIDA ST.
Goldman could play NT or DE in the Chargers defense. He is a powerful run defender and plays with high effort.
  18. PICK NO.
    18

    DORIAL GREEN-BECKHAM
    WR
    OKLAHOMA
Andy Reid isn’t afraid to take a chance on a player with off-field issues (Michael Vick). DGB has as much talent as any WR in the draft.
  19. PICK NO.
    19

    DEVIN SMITH
    WR
    OHIO ST.
Smith should continue to climb as we head into the postseason. He has elite play speed, and the Browns need to get bigger at the position.
  20. PICK NO.
    20

    LANDON COLLINS
    SS
    ALABAMA
Collins would be a huge upgrade in Philadelphia, and his physical play style fits the NFC East.
  21. PICK NO.
    21

    BUD DUPREE
    OLB
    KENTUCKY
Dupree is a raw prospect, but he has big-time edge speed and double-digit sack potential.
  22. PICK NO.
    22

    GEROD HOLLIMAN
    FS
    LOUISVILLE
The Steelers need to address the safety position, and Holliman is a ball magnet. He isn’t reliable in run support, but his playmaking ability might entice the Steelers to reach for him.
  23. PICK NO.
    23

    P.J. WILLIAMS
    CB
    FLORIDA ST.
The Lions could upgrade the O-line, but there won’t be many good options at this spot. Williams is a physical CB and should be able to play right away.
  24. PICK NO.
    24

    ELI HAROLD
    DE
    VIRGINIA
The Cardinals' secondary is loaded, but they need to add some talent/depth to their pass rush. Harold has good burst, quick hands and versatility.
  25. PICK NO.
    25

    BRANDON SCHERFF
    OT
    IOWA
Scherff is a mauling run blocker and would be a big upgrade in Carolina.
  26. PICK NO.
    26

    DEVIN FUNCHESS
    WR
    MICHIGAN
Steve Smith is not going to play much longer. Some evaluators like Funchess as a tight end, but I prefer him on the outside, where he can use his size/strength to overpower defenders.
  27. PICK NO.
    27

    MELVIN GORDON
    RB
    WISCONSIN
The Cowboys have a big decision to make about re-signing DeMarco Murray. Gordon would be a nice fallback plan.
  28. PICK NO.
    28

    LA'EL COLLINS
    OT
    LSU
Collins is a very physical run blocker, and some of his issues in pass protection would be covered up with the move from tackle to guard.
  29. PICK NO.
    29

    VIC BEASLEY
    OLB
    CLEMSON

The Colts would spark their rush by using Beasley on passing downs until he gets physically strong enough to play on early downs. He has an ideal mentor in Robert Mathis.
  30. PICK NO.
    30

    DENZEL PERRYMAN
    ILB
    MIAMI
Perryman would be a great fit and give the Packers' inside linebackers much-needed youth and athleticism.
  31. PICK NO.
    31

    TODD GURLEY
    RB
    GEORGIA

Bill Belichick isn’t afraid to buck the trend. Devaluing the running back position? Not when it comes to a player like Gurley.
  32. PICK NO.
    32

    PRESTON SMITH
    DE
    MISSISSIPPI ST.
Smith is a versatile defensive lineman and plays with great effort, leverage and quickness.

I was about to say. If we pick defense at 10 the guy better be an Aaron Donald type. To pass on Clemmings, Collins, and Scherff at 10 would make me go crazy. The defense is fine. Every resource needs to be spent on offense this offseason.

What a stupid mock draft. CB in the 1st aint' happening.

And ATL taking ANOTHER WR top 10?

That would prove why ATL sucks and sucks ballz. They should probably trade down and stock up. Their D is barren and their O-line seems that way too and their RBs are shit or over the hill.

Actually, I disagree that the defense is fine. Opposing QBs competion percentage still way too high for this defense to reach the elite level, IMO. And as I recall Williams defenses have been best when he has had a least one strong man coverage CB. That said, I'm not sure that Waynes is that guy.

Personally, if the top 9 picks go that way I would pick either Scherff (The Safe Pick) or DGB (The Homerun or Strikeout Pick!)! I think right now I would go with Scherff BUT DGB would be mighty tempting!

That is a pretty dumb mock... there is no way the rams go defense at 10. The offense needs to improve and the defense os already good.

Unless Leonard Williams makes it to 10, I really want no part in taking a defender, regardless of the value. There's going to be players like TJ Clemmings available at our spot, or Collins, Andrus Peat, or even Parker/White, guys like that. there's going to be great value at 10. Stacking defense just to stack defense won't boost our win total. I like the BPA approach, and it usually works, but we need to fix the offense and there's plenty of top offensive players available at 10 in this draft.

Surprisingly, our pick wasn't the worst in the top ten. Falcons take another too ten receiver? Behind that oline? Always thought jermiah was a guy who threw darts at a wall but damn.
