Their are a TON of Players who have worn this Jersey number, so I just tried to pick the best to start with.
We'll see how many others you can come up with!
I'll Start with;
RB - Ron Waller: (1955-58)

He was a well rounded RB he rushed 285 times for 1564 Yds. and 8 TD's a 5.5 aver. and he had 41 receptions for 419 Yds. and a TD an aver. of 10.2

He played in 1 playoff game rushing 11 times for 48 Yds. an a TD, a 4.4 aver.

and he went to the Pro Bowl in 1955

Next up, CB Irv Cross: (1966-68)

He came to us as a 2 Time Pro Bowler from Philly.

He didn't do much to pad his stats with us.

But he played with a pretty good crowd of Players.

And he played better than his stats would reflect!

He was Fun to Watch!

And he made a Pretty good Sports announcer, Here he is with My All-Time Favorite Rams FO Man/NFL Commish!


Next up Kicker - David Ray (1969-74)

A real good Kicker! He kicked 6 FG's in his 4 Playoff games with the Rams.

He was also #2 in points scored in 1970 with 121 points!
#1 in points scored in 1973 with 130 points! and in 1973 he also was #1 in FG's made with 30!.
( as a personal note: I never had a hard time remembering his name because, My first name is David and My late Twin Brothers named is Ray! We always joked about it!)


Next man up CB Pat Thomas1976-82)

He played 7 seasons for the Rams

He had 26 Int's for 292 Yds. and a TD.

He also had 7 FR's.

I remember him well ...

Especially in SB XXIV!!

The Rams Kicked ass for 45 minutes!! I lost a bundle!! (Fuckin' Lynn Swann!)

Next up CB Anthony Parker: (1995-96)

He had 6 Int's for 123 Yds. and 2 TD's and 5 FR's for 35 Yds. and a TD in his short career here.

Next man up FS Quinton Mikell: (2011-12)

Is it too much of a strain searching back in your memories for him!?

Not a lot to remember! But his name.

And now, My last for today, RB Tre Mason: (2014-present)

He rushed 179 times for765 Yds. and 4 TD's for a 4.3 aver. with a Long of 89 Yards in his Rookie campaign.

And he had 16 receptions for 148 Yds. and 1 TD an aver. of 9.3 with a Long of 35 yards.

All of our 2015 hopes start on his Back!!

I hope he spreads his wings and Flies!!!!

* FL/HB/WR - Pervis Atkins - 1961-1963

He was a 3rd Round Draft pick #30 overall by the Rams in 1960. In his 3 seasons he played in 42 games. he had 17 Rushes for 49 Yds. w/ a long of 16 Yds./ a 2.9 aver. he also had 54 Rec's for 634 Yds./ a 11.7 aver. and 2 TD's w/ a long of 18 Yds./8 Fumbles and 4 FR's.
He also had 23 PR's for 130 Yds./ a long of 45 Yds./ a 5.7 aver. and 29 KR's for 608 Yds. w/ a long of 35 Yds. and a 21.o aver

A interesting thing about him is he spent a couple of years in the USMC before going on to College^ and did pretty well at Ariz. ST. Then ..

.. He was also in a Famous Football Movie!! ^^ Top Row! (How many Old Pro do you see in this photo!?!)

NEXT:
* DB - Gary Green - 1984-1985

He Played in 32 games in his 2 seasons as a Ram. He had 9 Int's for 172 Yds. and 1 TD. w/ a long of 60 Yds./ 1 FR/ 3 Sacks/ and in his 1 Playoff game he had 1 Int for 1 yard.

He ran 1 Int back for a TD in 1985.

And he went to 1 Pro Bowl.

" He had a pretty good college career too, winning a certain Governor's Cup!

* DB - Matt Bowen - 2000-2001

I couldn't find any photos of him in a Rams Jersey, but I wanted to include him for two reasons:
1) The time frame he played
2) He was in on the 1st zone Blitz Designed by then New DC Lovie Smith!
Bowen was a 6th Round Draft pick #198 overall by the Rams in 2000.
In his 2 seasons and 17 games he totaled 14 TKL's and 2 Assists.

Next:
RB - Greg Hill -1998

In his 1 season as a Ram he only played in 2 games but had 40 Rushes for 240 Yds./4 TD's w/ a long of 46 Yds./ a 6.0 aver. and had 2 Targets w/ 1 Rec. for 6 Yards. I guess we didn't keep him because we brought in MARSHALL FAULK the next year!

* SS/FS - Johnnie Johnson -1980-1989

OK, he mostly wore #29 But his last season he switched to #27!
In his 10 seasons and 121 games as a Ram he had 21 Int's for 372 Yds./ 4 TD's w/ a long of 99 Yds./ 2 Fumbles / 22 FR's for 32 Yds. and 20 PR's for 163 Yds. w/ a long of 39 Yds. / a 8.2 aver. and in his 9 Playoff games he totaled 3 PR's for ( Yds. w/ a long of 3 Yds.

I was just looking at the stats posted above And I decided they weren't complete enough for we stat lover's sooo .. here's a better look at them!

In his 1 Post Season game he had 11 Rushes for 48 Yds. and 1 TD. w/ a long of 13 Yds. a 4.4 aver./ he also had 3 Rec's for 18 Yds./ a 6.0 aver. and a long of 11 Yds. and he had 3 KR's for 88 Yds. w/ a long of 32 Yds.

* CB - Irv Cross - 1966-1968

In his 3 seasons with us he played in 42 games and had 6 Int's for 60 Yds. and 1 TD w/ a long of 60 Yds./ 5 Fumbles / 5 FR's/ and 29 PR's for 218 Yds. w/ a long of 39 Yds./ a 7.5 aver. and 16 KR's for 482 Yds./ a long of 67 Yds. and a 30.1 aver.
In his 1 playoff game with us he had 1 KR for 26 yards.

* Kicker - David Ray - 1969-1974

In his 6 season and 70 games as a Ram he had 178 FGA's/ 110 FGM's/ a 61.8% comp rate/ and 175 XPA's w/ 167 XPM's/ 95.4%/ he also had 1 Rec for 11 Yds./ 1 FR and in 4 Playoff games he had 3XPM's/3 XPA's/^ FGM's/11 FGA's and he was Top 10 in the League in points scored in 1970-71-72 and 1973!

* CB Pat Thomas - 1976-1982

He was a 2nd Round pick #39 overall for the Rams. In 7 seasons and 87 games he had 26 Int's for 292 Yds.and 1 TD w/ a long of 64 Yds. / 7 FR's for 9 Yds./ 8 KR's for152 Yds. w/ a long of 30 Yds. and a 19.0 aver. In 9 Playoff games he totaled 1 Int for 6 Yards.
He went to 2 Pro Bowls in 1978 and 1980 and was a All-Pro in 1980.

* CB - Anthony Parker - 1995-1996

In his 2 seasons he played 30 games he had 6 Int's for 123 Yds. and 2 TD's w/ a long of 92 Yds./ 1 FF/ 5 FR's for 35 Yds. and 1 TD and 108 TKL's w/ 11 assists.

* FS - Quinton Mikell - 2011-2012

In his 2 seasons he played in 32 games and had 2 Int's for 11 Yds./ 7 PD's/ 9 FF's/ 1 FR for 14 Yds. and 4 sacks w/ 158 TKL's and 34 assists.
