By "Big" I mean Log, It has taken me 3 Days To put this together, I have a lot for you today!! In alphabetical order!:shades::snicker:
1st Man Up;
* FB/HB - Dick Bass - 1960-1969

A 1st Round pick #2 overall in 1959 by the Rams, and he became a Legend!

In his 10 Seasons and 112 games he went on to play in 3 Pro Bowls.

He had 1218 Rushes for 5417 Yds./ 34 TD's w/ a long of 73 Yds. and a 4.4 aver. he also had 204 Rec's for 1841 Yds./ a 9.0 aver./7 TD's w/ a long of 53 Yds./ He totaled 7258 Yds. from scrimmage!

He also had 43 Fumbles and 15 FR's. and he did a little Return work too! 24 PR's for 263 Yds. and 1 TD. w/ a long of 90 Yds. and a 11.o aver./ 54 KR's for 1415 Yds. w/ a long of 64 Yds./ a 26.2 aver.

And he went 1 for 4 Passing for 22 Yds. and in his 1 Post Season game he had 14 Rushes for 40 Yds. w/ a long of 15 Yds. a 2.9 aver.

And he Played with Gab Too!!

* RB - John Cappelletti - 1974-1978

John was a 1st Round pick by the Rams #11 overall in 1974. In his 5 Seasons he played in 69 games.

He Rushed 632 Times for 2246 Yds./ 15 TD's w/ a long of 38 Yds. and a 3.6 aver.

He was one hell of a RB!!

He couldn't be stopped by just one man! He also had 105 Rec's for 947 Yds./ a 9.0 aver. and 3 TD's w/ a long of 37 Yds.

He did also have 16 Fumble/ 4 FR's for 1 Yd. and 5 KR's for 56 Yds. w/ a long of 17 Yds. and a 11.2 aver.

In his 9 Post Season games he had 60 Rushes for 201 Yds. and 1 TD. w/ a long of 16 Yds. and a 3.4 aver./ he did have 1 Rec for Minus 2 Yards.

He was a 2nd Round pick by the Rams #64 overall in 2002.

He Played in 56 games in his 5 Season with the Team.

He had 7 Int's for 235 Yds. and 2 TD's w/ a long of 74 Yds.

He also had 29 Passes Defended/ 2 FF's/ 3 FR's and 205 TKL's w/ 16 Assists. and in his 1 Post Season game he had 1 Int.

* DB - Billy Jenkins - 1997-1999

In his 3 Seasons as a Ram he played 48 games and had 4 Int's for 47 Yds. w/ a long of 25 Yds./ 2 FF's/ 4 sacks and 166 TKL's w/ 44assists.

In his 1 Post season game he had 1 Int. And then he Got to Hoist THE Trophy!!

* CB - Trumaine Johnson - 2012-Present

He was a 3rd Round pick #65 overall in 2012, that has paid off well!!

In his 4 Seasons, going into 5, He's played in 55 Games and had ..

15 Int's for 245 Yds. and 2 TD's w/ a long of 58 Yds.

.. Now isn't that a gorgeous Catch!!

He's a really Good CB! Maybe UNDER-Rated!! He's also had 43 PD's/ 1 FF/ 1 FR and 177 TKL's w/ 28 Assists.

Next: Areal Old Timer!
* Center - Fred Naumetz - 1946-1950

I wanted to include him for two reasons, He's an Old Cleveland Ram, and he's a good lead-in to my "Trivia Note" you'll see Next! 1st Fred!
He was drafted by the Cleveland Rams in the 3rd Round Pick #20 overall in 1943!! Due To 'No Football during WWII.
He played in 58 games in his 5 Seasons and had 7 Int's for 98 Yds. w/a long of 68 Yds. and 2 FR's ( Remember they played both sides of the ball in those days) In 3 Post Season games he totaled 1 Int for 11 Yds. and 1 FR.
He was an All Pro in 1949, They didn't have Pro Bowls in those days!

Trivia: Did you know that in 1949 the NFL only had 2 Divisions! They where the Eastern Div. and the Western Div.
And in 1949 the Rams Won the West w/ a 8-2-2 Record. and went to the Championship game against The East Champs, the Philly. Eagles!

He was a 4th Round pick by the Rams #97 overall in 1983.

In his 8 Seasons he played in 110 games and ha 12 Int's for 227 Yds. and 1 TD. w/ a long of 81 Yds. He also had 6 FR's for 7 Yds. and 2 sacks.

In his 8 Post Season games he had 2 FR's for 6 Yds.

Next:
* RB - Chris Ogbonnaya - 2009

He was a 7th Round pick #211 overall in 2009. He only played in 2 games and had 11 Rushes for 50 Yds. w/ a long of 18 Yds./ a 4.5 aver. and he had 1 Rec. for 19 Yds.

Next up:
* SS - Marquez Pope - 1994

In his single Season with the Team he played in 16 games.

I could Find much in the way of photos of him, maybe some has more!

He had 3 Int's for 66 Yds. w/ a long of 51/ 2 FF's/ 81 TKL's and 14 Assists.

Final Man!
* DB - Jacoby Shepard - 2000-2001

He was a 2nd Round pick by the Rams #62 overall in 2000. In his 2 Seasons he played 22 games and had 1 Int. and 17 TKL's w/ 1 Assist.

And he got to Pal-Around with Rookie Tory Holt!!

Trumaine Johnson was electric last year. I agree with you Dave, I think Trumaine is a little underrated considering the stats he put up last year, but he got paid over the offseason. As long as he's happy, I'm happy!

I was watching some 1970's games a while ago on YouTube and saw a pretty good duo between McCutcheon/Cappelletti. It made me think about how this year it looks like we've got a potential for a very nice duo with a Gurley/Cunningham backfield.

I've said this many times, Dave, but thank you so much for doing this! It really is a treat to wake up every day and remember some of the greatest players in this franchise's history that I might have forgotten about or haven't heard of. Most of these players are before my time so it's fun for me to see the stats you've provided then look up highlight videos on these guys. I can't believe we're all ready 80% of the way done!

I concur. I enjoy your posts every day and use them to monitor how close we are getting to the start of the season.

Cappelletti was definitely from my earliest memories. The running game was so much more valued back then. We would have 6-7 running backs. And 3 of them would get some decent carries every game. Not anymore.

So much excitement in 2018 comes from perhaps the Rams best free agent class in team history. No one exemplifies that excitement more than CB Marcus Peters.
